Holy Mac and Cheese

Hi Blogger Friends.  I want to thank all of you for visiting my blog and a special thank you to those that leave me such wonderful comments.  They do keep me motivated.

I have started another facebook group for Debbie's Ultimate January/February Challenge 2016  Please come and join us there or on your blog.  The more the merrier.

With that said - there was a challenge put out on another facebook group Stitch Maynia.  This one is to start a new project EVERYDAY next year.  I must have had a brain toot because I just signed up.  Hey, I'm starting 60 - what's 306 more!  I will say that about 90% of them will be smalls.  You can all start calling me insane now.

My Holy Mac and Cheese moment.  I decided at the beginning of the month to do an hour's worth of stitching a day on Cinderella's Castle.  That lasted about 4 days and I started getting behind.  Then I was sick for a couple of weeks so I had to stitch 3 or 4 hours some days to catch up.  BUT, I did it.
3,448 stitches.

As of 10-31-15

As of 9-30-15

I have still been doing more crocheting than stitching.  Here is 110 circles that will be turned into squares for the April challenge next year.  I think I ONLY have about 600 (give or take) more to do.

Wish me luck and thanks for visiting.  Linda

I can't believe what I have just read! Linda, you must be the most insane person in the stitching community! Naturally, I wish you well, but please promise me and everyone else who cares about you that you will look after your health first and not stress about the challenge you have signed up for. If it gets too much, give up. There will be no shame in it and nobody will think any less of you.
As for Cinderella's Castle - huge congratulations are in order for that as your progress this month has been amazing.
Obviously there's something in the water in your area in October! :)

Linda you are crazy! How long will it take you to cut fabric for 366 starts?!
Like Rachel said above, please do look after yourself and don't get stressed about finishing the challenge. A year of starts is a huge commitment.

You've done a lot of crocheting! Nice progress too on the stitching. You are so brave with all the stitching challenges for 2016, your hands will be full but a fulfilling year awaits! Go go go!

I think you are crazy! I couldn't even do the 15 day challenge! But I am being tempted to try again. But I must admit watching you stitch so keep up the good work!

You are the best kind of crazy!
I agree with the others, it's a great idea and if you can do it, good for you! I don't even attempt things like that because I know it would stress me out. I will be cheering you on:)

WOW. WOW. And yikes! I would be in a rubber room bouncing off the walls. Maybe 2017 can be the year of 365 finishes?!

You sure do push the boundaries, Linda! LOL I'd be hard=pressed to do 30 more again. But I do plan to work on one a day through January. I have plenty of projects on the go to make that work. :)

Love all your progress on Cinderella's Castle. Maybe I should give myself a goal of an hour a day on my HAED. Great idea!

Do very glad you are feeling better and able to stitch again.

That's a crazy challenge! Some people can't even stitch every day let alone start a new one every day!
I'm sticking with my 16 in '16 list for next year. I'd like to complete some of the larger WIPS too.

A new project every day?? Now do you have to buy anything? Or do you have all these charts in your stash? :) Great circles and progress and 2016 looks like it will be interesting for you and your blog followers. :)

366 starts in one year? Holy Mac and Cheese, as you put it! I usually allow myself one new start in January (and feel guilty about it as I never seem to finish anything), and here you go and do that every day! Lady, I think I want your confidence (and stash ;)) :D

Great job, Linda!! You are breaking all records. What next after 365 days? New start every hour ?;)
You are active equally in crochet projects too. I guess you have some kind of magic pill or magic wand :)
Wish you good luck with all your projects and wish you happiness in all that you do:)
