1 Down - 4 To To Go

Hi Blogger Friends.  I got one of the blankets crocheted.  This is one that I started in 2011.  She is buying it for her 3 year old granddaughter.  I am making another one for her 2 week old granddaughter.
The squares were fun to make but it was a bear to sew together.

Cut-thru Stable - Bothy Threads - I'm getting very excited.  I sure hope to finish this in the next couple Mondays.  I'm done with page 5.  In the dirt I found more bones, a rock, and a horseshoe.  That light pinky brown thing under the tack bucket looks like a huge turkey drumstick.  (Not sure)  I also found a brush.  I have no idea what that gold thing is below the collar or the thing below the gold rock.  Any ideas?

Fall Welcome - Diane Arthurs - I worked on the leaf section.

Santa's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 7 - Prairie Schooler - I finished the swans and almost half of Santa.
You can click on the pictures to enlarge.

Midnight - I'm such a sweet girl Mommy.

Thanks for looking and for leaving such great comments.     Linda

Boring Updates

Hi Blogger Friends.  It turned very hot here and that means its cut down on my puzzle making.  But, of course, I'm not crocheting on the now 5 baby blankets that I have to make or any of the 168 cross stitch projects that I have started.  I play on the computer.
Here is some progress.

Cut-thru Stable - Bothy Threads - I did more pinky brown dirt and some surprise things buried in the dirt.

Fall Welcome - Diane Arthurs - Happy Dancing in my chair.  I finally finished all the backstitching on the basket and above.

Santa's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 7 - Prairie Schooler - I am so glad this is the last of the birds.  I am getting so tired of stitching birds so I started Santa.

This is a first.  Mocha (brown cat) is a loner.  I have one cat that beats her up so shes kind of leary of all of them even though they just want to play.  Morris moved before I got the camera.  He was laying down and she had her head on his side and they  were both sleeping.

Thanks for looking.   Linda

Linda's Turtle Trot SAL May Update

Hi Blogger Friends.  It's turtle trot time.  This is where we pick 10 projects and stitch on as many as we can each month and post an update on the 10th.  This is being hosted by Claudette of BAP Attack.  You can see who else is turtle trotting HERE.  I managed to stitch on all 10 again this month.  I started out early and worked on the last two last night.

1.  Mitten Friends - Diane Arthurs - I stitched on his hat and scarf.

2.  6 Fat Men - Lizzie Kate - I stitched the house.

3.  Disney Heroes #16 - Alina's XStitch - I filled in some of the holes.  I am really excited, I can finally see a tree branch forming.

4.  Happy Camper - Diane Arthurs - Filled in the green on the H.

5.  Summer Season - Sandra Cozzolino - I stitched the orange words.  (I swear my camera lens is crooked.  The picture looked straight when I was taking it.)

6.  Mermaid Myrna - Diane Arthurs - I did more of her endless yellow hair.

7.  Dog Lessons for People - Lizzie Kate - I stitched the word lots.

8.  Autumn Season - Sandra Cozzolino - I started the border.

9.  Spring Alphabet - Lizzie Kate - I stitched L, R and S

10.  March Sampler - Waxing Moon Designs - I'm working on the top banner.  There is suppose to be a kite on each side of the word March.  I started one and didn't like it so I decided to put 2 shamrocks on each side.  They are the same as the ones on the bottom banner.

Thanks for looking.    Linda

I do want to say thank you to everyone for leaving me such encouraging comments.  I am so horrible at replying through my email, but I'm trying.

PS  I'm gonna have to retire from my day job for a while.  I have 4 baby blankets to crochet.

SAL Updates

Hi Blogger Friends.    I have a problem and I know other bloggers do also.  I am still leaving comments on the blogs I read.  But, I am getting email failure notices that you aren't getting the comments in your email. They are being posted on your blog post.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Cut-thru Stable - Bothy Threads - I found a dog collar in the ground.  I did more backstitching on the stable floor and filled in more of the ground.  I only have about 400 stitches left to finish page 5.

Fall Welcome - Diane Arthurs - I finished all the backstitching from the top of the basket up.  I'm seeing a finish on this one in the not to distant future.  (Geez!! Will I ever be able to take a straight picture.)

Santa's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 7 - Prairie Schooler - I stitched the black swan.  I'm so glad that this is the last one with birds.

Thanks for looking.    Linda

May YOTA SAL

Hi Blogger Friends.  It's time for the Year of the Acronym SAL update.   You pick a UFO to work on during the month and post a before and after picture the first Saturday of the month.   It is being hosted by Pull the Other Thread and you can read all about it HERE.

Cut-thru North Pole House - Bothy Threads

5-3-14         I did a strand of light and dark yellow around the elf - about 200 stitches for the month (last night).  At this rate, I might have this done in about 20 years.

4-5-14

Right not I am addicted to jigsaw puzzles.  I just can't stop working on them.  I do them in the garage cause I have really bad kitties.  So I'm out there until it gets cold and or dark than I will stitch for a few hours in the evening.  I have decided that they are like my day job but I don't get paid.  LOL

DO YOU THINK THAT I HAVE ENOUGH JIGSAW PUZZLES????

There is another full row on the left plus 15 in the linen closet.

HOW ABOUT SOME LATCH HOOK RUG KITS!
Another row on the left plus 10 in the closet.

Thanks for looking.     Linda

PS  I want to say thank you for all the sweet comments about Mr. D.  They really helped.
