Start #63 - SAL updates - blog award

Hi Blogger Friends.  I feel so honored.  I was awarded the Liebster Blog Award twice more.  First by Jan of Thread Garden.  She does great stitching and also post receipes.  Second was by Thoeria of My Little Corner of Cyberspace.  She also does awesome stitching.  Please stop by and say hi to them.

Start 63.  I really need to catch up with Debbie and Rosemary as they both have one done and guess what - I have none done but 3 started.

Spring and Fall - April - Prairie Schooler

Updates
Santa's 12 Days - Prairie Schooler

Snow Pals - Diane Arthurs
Lady Liberty - Diane Arthurs

Out of sight - out of mind.  I won this awesome giveaway from Stephanie at Blue Star Stitcher a while back and keep forgetting to post a pic.

I also just won this awesome giveaway from Ruth at Ruth's Little Leprechauns.

Aren't they great?  Thank you to both wonderful ladies.

Up next.   My versions of a HAED.  They are stitched on 18ct aida (which I don't really like) but better than 25ct.  They are stitched solid, but I think I can do these.

Thanks for looking.  Linda

PS  We badly need help.  As you know, we landscaped are front yard last November.  About a month ago, a golpher decided to make it his home.  He now has 14 holes in my lawn.  We have tried poison, castor oil granules and a golpher trap.  Nothing has worked.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Linda

Halloween House Update

Hi Blogger Friends.  I did manage to stitch on all of my SAL pieces this week, but I didn't do alot, so no pics of them.  I was very honored to be given the Liebster Blog Award for the second time.  I received it from Joyce of Joyce's Love of Life.  Go check out her blog and her awesome rotation.  I tried it last year and my poor little ole brain got to confused.  But, it sure works for her.

Here is my Halloween House by Ursula Michael update.

Thanks for looking.  Linda

TUSAL Update #3

Here is my TUSAL for this month.  It doesn't seem like its growing as much as it did when I was starting a new project every day.  However, I am very frugal with my floss.  I will even keep a piece if I think I can get one stitch out of it.

See ya next month.   Linda

I WON

WOW!!!  I won my first blog award.  Jan from Thread Garden honored me with the award.  Go check out her great stitching.

Some background: Liebster is a German word, meaning favourite, dearest or beloved and the Liebster is awarded by bloggers to other, newer bloggers, who have fewer than 200 followers, to spread the word and help the new(er)bies gain wider recognition. The award comes with four conditions that each recipient must satisfy when accepting:

1.  Choose five up-and-coming blogs (with fewer than 200 followers) to award the Liebster to.

2.  Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.

3.  Post the award on your blog. List the bloggers you are giving the award to with links to their sites. Leave comments on their blogs so they know about the award.

4.  Share 5 random facts about yourself that people don't know about you.

Five of my favorite blogs to read.

1.  Debbie from  Debbie's Cross Stitch
2.  Jen from  Crafty Imaginings by Jen
3.  McKenna from  Chic Crafting
4.  Mia from  Positivity - Positiivisuutta
5.  Lynn from  Never A Dull Moment

Five random facts about me:

1.  I am a very very stubborn person.
2.  I am 62 - my husband is 41 and we have been married for 19 years.  (He didn't marry me for my looks or money)  Must of been the stubborness.
3.  When my mom was 8 months pregnant she got sick.  She went to the hospital and went to sleep and never woke up.  The doctors said if I had been in her a minute longer I would not have survived.
4.  My eye sight, hearing and breast never fully developed on my right side.
5.  I am right handed, but do these things with my left hand:  deal and play cards - count money (was a cashier at an Indian casino and fought with them for months because of that) - as a child I played Jacks left handed - and my favorite, I wash dishes right handed except for silverware and cooking utensils.

I know you all wanted to know this about me.  lol    Please go take a look at these great blogs and say hi.

I need to crochet a baby blanket and it has to be done no later than this coming Friday.  No problem.  I work very well under pressure.

I still have several people that have not responded to my Blogoversary Giveaway and my Pay It Forward.  If anybody would like to receive one of these, please let me know.

Thank for looking.    Linda
