Hi Blogger Friends. I'm sure your going to get tired of me saying how much I love stitching on this. So, I have decided, as soon as I finish one of my bigger pieces I am going to start another one. It is so hard to only work on this one day a week. I enlarged the chart and am coloring it as I go (first time). So looking at the colored chart makes it look like I have alot more done.
Stable
I taught my husband, John how to cross stitch about 20 years ago. He goes in stitching moods. He'll stitch for a year and than nothing for several years. He seems to like this design so I'm hoping he'll stick with it. He does beautiful work. In fact, I think his stitches are better than mine. He has about 15 pieces started and I'm afraid he will never finish them. (You can click on the pics to enlarge)

Thanks for looking. Linda

What a fantastic update, Linda! That horse is almost done already, wow! John's boat looks great, too!
Good idea to start another Cut Thru' design to stitch on other days of the week!
They are such cool charts:)
So fun! I love that your DH is stitching along too!
Love your update. That's a great idea about highlighting the areas stitched. Great progress for you and your husbands stitching. SOO Cool that you both get to stitch together. love Annette
I love that your husband stitches! What an awesome pattern, too!
i really want to stitch the narrow boat one as well, in fact there are a few i want to stitch lol! will enjoy watching you and your husbands progress - Amanda
Yes, you are right! His stitches have more finish than yours :) the boat chart looks very interesting; lot of little colourful things around.
Great progress by both of you.
Wow both are so weet charts...I love them
Big hugs x
Great stitching both of you! I love those cut-in-half stitching designs. It's the process that is important as much as the finished result.
Love the stitching Linda, the horse is really come on and John's stitching is looking great also. I knew it was only a matter of time until you found the pieces you felt like starting and I'm glad you did, can't wait to see what other cut thru's you start.
Lovely updates!
They both look great! I can't believe your husband knows how to cross-stitch - that must be such a fun hobby to share! Mine barely pays attention when I talk about my projects, God love him :P
Looking great! Lucky you've got a partner who can understand your love of xs!
Both yours and John's are looking great. Can't believe that horse is almost done already. I haven't posted mine yet as Colin is away with the camera and my phone is so old photos are rubbish. Can't wait to stitch on it again on Monday though :)
What a very handsome horse that is! Even partially done :D Himself is doing very nicely on the boat, too. It took a minute, but I found the part he stitched!
Oh wow, well done both of you. If I were to do another Cut Thru (I am on my second as I did the camper) then I would probably go for the boat your hubby is doing. I have done a few Bothy Threads kits and I love them - Row of Mice, Row of Dogs which I adapted to put my own hound in the row!
