May YOTA SAL

Hi Blogger Friends.  It's time for the Year of the Acronym SAL update.   You pick a UFO to work on during the month and post a before and after picture the first Saturday of the month.   It is being hosted by Pull the Other Thread and you can read all about it HERE.

Cut-thru North Pole House - Bothy Threads

5-3-14         I did a strand of light and dark yellow around the elf - about 200 stitches for the month (last night).  At this rate, I might have this done in about 20 years.

4-5-14

Right not I am addicted to jigsaw puzzles.  I just can't stop working on them.  I do them in the garage cause I have really bad kitties.  So I'm out there until it gets cold and or dark than I will stitch for a few hours in the evening.  I have decided that they are like my day job but I don't get paid.  LOL

DO YOU THINK THAT I HAVE ENOUGH JIGSAW PUZZLES????

There is another full row on the left plus 15 in the linen closet.

HOW ABOUT SOME LATCH HOOK RUG KITS!
Another row on the left plus 10 in the closet.

Thanks for looking.     Linda

PS  I want to say thank you for all the sweet comments about Mr. D.  They really helped.

That's a lot of puzzles. North Pole looks great. I've done latch hook before and really enjoyed it, I would love to do another but I haven't found anywhere that has a decent selection.

Your stitching's looking wonderful. You'll get it done one day :-)
Love all your puzzles! We like to do them, too, and probably had about that many before we moved. We had to downsize to about 30 for space reasons. Have fun with them :-)

I love jigsaws too. You have a good selection! I too wish stitching was my day job. Maybe one day! Any progress is a bit nearer to a finish and NPH is looking great!

Eeep....that's quite a few you have there Linda :) So what types do you work on? Fairies? Animals? Or anything? I have a few puzzles that I haul out once in a blue moon....

Wow, what a lot of jigsaws! You should start a lending library, you'd be very popular.

I haven't done one in years, I used to before I discovered stitching. Our biggest was 5 foot by 4 foot picture of the Tower of London. By the time we finished it the edge pieces of the sky had faded to a different colour as the final pieces!
