June Gifted Gorgeousness

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS is being hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching.  We all have projects that have been gifted to us or pieces that we are doing as gifts.   This SAL is so we can work on those and post on the 15th.

Pretty Mini Paris by Satsuma Street.  The magazine was gifted to me by our awesome hostess Jo.  I managed to stitch the green building and car in the last week.

This is going to be a lapghan for a good friend and neighbor Shirley for Christmas.  The gray is Red Heart Team Spirit in red and gray.  They are the color of the San Francisco 49 er's - her favorite football team.  The solid color is Red Heart Cherry.  I think I'm going to do the squares in the Team Spirit variegated yarn and the flat braid join (new to me) (how did I do?) in the red.

Thanks for looking.  Linda

Thank you all again for the awesome comments.  I really appreciate them.

Oh, Linda, Paris really looks amazing on that fabric! Such lovely stitching. The join looks perfect, and I think you'll be happier with the colors switched. Awesome job on both!

I love the Pretty Mini Paris, the blue fabric sets it off so well! Lovely blanket too. I don't do any yarn crafts but it looks great to me :)

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. Paris looks great on the blue fabric. I'm loving Mini London on black so much that I'm wondering whether to stitch the others on black too.

Love your crocheted squares! I think the 49ers are mostly red with accents of the other colors~. That is an interesting way of joining, here I thought one just slip stitched everything. I'm still learning! :D

I know very little about crochet but I think it looks great and I love the colors. Great new start too. We can chat about the Toy Story kit and I will offer it to you first when I am finished. Send me an email and I will explain more :)

I like seeing PLP on the blue. I liked the black in the model too, but this is great!
