Hi Blogger Friends. I would like to thank all of you for visiting my blog and leaving such awesome comments. I really enjoy reading them and they are truly appreciated. (I did want to mention that I am still leaving comments on your blogs but your not getting an email from me.) As the title says, I have been doing a lot of crocheting and very little stitching. It seems like every summer I get in a stitching slump.
Australia by Clouds Factory
Pretty Little London by Satsuma Street. I did the blue on the ferris wheel.
Cinderella's Castle - I did make some good progress on this one in 3 days.

Tama had asked to see some of my variegated yarn. This is 30 different colors. I have about 80 more. (I have been collecting yarn since 1972 when I taught myself to crochet.)
These are squares for 2 afghans. I only need to make 219 more.
These will become squares for 2 more afghans. I only need 170 more. (Circle 1, 2 and 4 on the bottom row are from yarn bought in the 70's.)
These are squares for 4 more afghans. I need 24 more top squares, 7 more of the one on the left and 109 of the one on the right. See those little tiny squares on the bottom - I only need 394 more of those.
I only have 2 afghans left to start.
Thanks for looking. Back to crocheting. Linda

Great collection!! I was born in 1976 and you have been collecting before that. Considering your stitching and crochet stash, I guess you might be having a huge room full of it. How easily you can blend the 3 digit numbers with the word 'only' :)
What yarn and hook size do you use frequently ? Do you like thread crochet as well?
Great progress!
Oh my goodness... look at your gorgeous variegated yarns... your afghans will look gorgeous when they're all put together :o)
Well done on your stitching progress.
I wish I knew why I don't get the email when you leave a comment... but thank you for dropping by and commenting!
Enjoy your crocheting :o)
Hugs xx
looks great
Lovely stitching and your Crocheting looks great.
Great stitching progress and wow look at all that yarn! True vintage. X
Beautiful stitching as always. Love your crochet, the yarn colours are just beautiful.
Wow, so many wonderful colors! I can just imagine your huge yarn collection, lol. Little stitching? That didn't look little to me, haha. Great progress on your WIPs:)
Great stitching update :)
Nice pieces. Love your crochet work also.
Lovely progress it must be fun working with all of those colors!
We are working on the same part of London! The Ferris wheel is actually the London Eye, it's a newish landmark and a bit bigger than your average Ferris wheel.
You have been busy :)
Awesome progress, Linda! Everything's looking great. You got a lot done on Australia. Your crochet colors are so pretty; I really like the white on the box squares. Keep it up; you'll pass me :-)
Beautiful yarns! Are these projects all for your A-Z challenges? And great progress on your stitching too.
Everything looks wonderful, love your crochet squares!
Lovely crochet work! I really like the Satsuma Street patterns. I may have to do one myself one of these days. ;)
Your afghans will be so pretty with all that color. Always like to see progress on a Satsuma Street. Love those patterns.
All looks so lovely and colorful. Well done Linda.
Ooooooh my goodness, those make me DROOL!!!
:P
I love those variegated colors SO much...!
I love your cross stitch projects, too - you choose the cutest things to stitch :D
I've got one afghan somewhere with about half the motifs done - a flower garden style, maybe? You make me want to get it out!!!
Wonderful crocheted squares, Linda, such gorgeous colours!
Love your crocheting and you have made great stitching progress:)
Wow, that's a lot of afghans in the works! Beautiful crochet - I love those colors you're picking. Lovely stitching too! :D
That is quite a long time collecting yarn! LOL.
Lots of pretty colors I see. Your stitching progress is great for being in a slump. I can't wait to see more of Cinderella's castle.
Very nice stitching progress. And look at all that lovely crocheting yarn. These afghans will be gorgeous, so colourful. I hope you will show a picture.
Variegated yarn really is awesome and your collection is impressive! One of those circles totally looks like Banana Berry! Even with all the pink, circle #2 on the bottom row makes a beautiful stitch.
