I joined a SAL group on Facebook. 2017 Dimensions Kit SAL I will be starting this one tomorrow.
This kit is from 1982. I will be using my own fabric and DMC floss.

I think the light thread does show up on your light fabric. Love your 1982 Dimensions kit! It looks pretty intricate.

I love all your wips. They are really coming along. I think Dimension kits are great no matter if they are old or new, it looks to be a fun project.

A Dimensions kit SAL would be perfect for me if I were a member of FB. I have so many old kits that I dearly love and that I should eventually start ... maybe soon.
