An Update and I need help

Hi Blogger Friends.  I actually worked on SAL pieces this week and one of my Turtle Trot Pieces.

September - Prairie Schooler   SAL with Debbie and Kaye   I stitched the veins in the leaves and alot of the squirrel.

Santa's 12 Days of Christmas - Prairie Schooler   SAL with Debbie and Kaye   I stitched the white on the hens.

Boo Club - Treats - Lizzie Kate    Worked on the border.

Singing the Blues - Little House Needleworks   SAL with Debbie
I finished the letters, bird, one strand on the border and one strand of the green.

Here is where I need help.  I received the fabric yesterday for my Paradise Banner in my last post.  I also got a kit that I've wanted ever since I saw it in a catalog.   If you were ever to catch my husband and myself sitting on the edge of a bathtub naked, this picture would be us from the neck down.  I kid you not.  Its the spittin image of us.  But alas, I can't start either one until I finish another piece.   I am a very, very stubborn person, but I have no willpower.   HELP!!!

I'll leave you with pics of what mean furbaby parents do.........

I bet I never told you that we had a miniature lion.  Mr.D

We thought we might get in trouble keeping a lion, so we turned him into this.

He started out like this....

This is Mocha.  Her hair was so matted, we couldn't even brush it.  This is what happened.....

This is what she looked like.  See the light patches, that was all matted.

Thanks for looking.   Linda

You did great on all your SALs! I need to get back to the PS monthly designs and work on Santa's 12 Days. You're ahead of me on Singing the Blues. I love how you used a different blue for the word Bluebird to match the bird!

Oh your poor kitties! Mr. D looked like he needed a shave, but I didn't know Mocha was so matted. His fur looks short to start with. I can't believe you did it! Were they drugged? LOL

Oh poor kitties. I bet they feel better though. After giving them haircuts I think you deserve a new start. Opps we are meant to talk you out of it;)

I don't think that you should start that kit. Now that you told us it's how you and your husband look naked, we won't be able to unsee it. Think of your readers!

Everything's looking good so far :-) Just hang onto those two kits; you can do it!
Poor kitties! Hard to be bald, and then everyone's laughing at them.

Great Stitching :-) I feel for you with your cats I used to have a couple of persians a nightmare to keep their coats looking nice and the bigger of the two we had to shave as it got seriously matted. After that I made sure they were groomed every single day.

Poor kitties, I bet they feel so much better and lighter now. I stitched the PS September design last year and loved it. Did you notice how different the colors are from the chart though?

Lovely stitching .
Oh your poor baby , I had to clip my dogs like that a long time ago now they use to have long flowing hair and in the Summer I use to have it cut all off, hugs.

They will feel so much better now. Love kitties! Wish we could have some.

Did I read you won 'Parsley's Traveling Poopy Pattern'? Oh, I hope you miss the curse! ;-)

Those are some cute projects! I 'specially like that squirrel! And oMYgoodNEss, shaved furbabies! They look adorable! Also like they want revenge! My sis had to do this to one of her MILs Persians, and was out on the porch to keep the hair out of the house - the UPS man showed up! She got some really, really strange looks, she said!

Love all your pieces, Linda! Lovely! Regarding the new start, I would say wait on it. It will probably be less overwhelming and stressful if you wait and all the more exciting when you finally start it! Also, I can't believe you shaved your cat! Not because I think it's cruel or anything, I don't. I think it's hilarious! The cat must not have been happy!

Bless your kitties but it is so much kinder than de-matting.

Go Linda! You're doing great on all your projects, I'm still doing the Prairie Schooler SAL, I am nearly done with November. I love your September, that's a fun one to stitch. Actually, they all are!

All of your cats are so loved and you had to do what you had to do for Mr. D and Mocha. He did look like a little lion, very ferocious.
