Hi Blogger Friends. I want to thank you all for the nice anniversary and birthday wishes.
I did about 400 stitches in the Stable yesterday. I finished the golden brown and grayish wall on the right. Also the light grey and terracotta in the sacks. Two strands of white in the sacks which started the very large white fence. And I did the pitch fork and shovel blue handles. I think next week I might try and tackle a strand or two of backstitch. (You can click on the picture to enlarge.)
I would also like to thank all of you that voted for my anniversary and birthday starts. Although I didn't get to start on the actual days. Here is the final count.
1. Cut thru Steam Train - 27 Started 9-15-13
2. Cut thru Cottage - 18
3. Splish Splash by Diane Arthurs - 14
4. 99 Bottles - 12
I will start the last two in the CJC2014.
Cut thru Steam Train
My husband is stitching on the cut thru Narrow Boat. He has done very little since his last update on June 3. But, some is better than none.
I will be starting the Cottage in the next week or so. I want to finish Good Morning first.
You can go the SAL page at the top and see everybody's progress.
Thanks for looking. Linda

Good choice for your start and John is doing well, too. ... and this answers my FB question to you, as well.
Happy belated birthday and anniversary. The steam train is off to a great start!
Great progress!! The train project is my favourite and I am eager to see your stitching progress on it. I am going through a busy time and cross stitch demands lot of time.
great progress

Yes! One of the charts I voted for made it. It's the Cut-Through train which I liked best. Very nice start on it. And some great progress on John's piece.
Wonderful progress.
Wow lots going on there. Your progress on stable looks great. Your husbands work looks lovely also and your start on train is fab. Looking forward to seeing more of all four cut thru projects.
The Stable is looking really good!!! And the Train is cool too! These cut thru designs are very clever!
A lot of progress including your husband's boat. Nice start on the train.

Great progress! :D It's so nice that your husband is stitching too. I couldn't get mine to sit still long enough to learn!
Lovely progress (:
Wow Linda,
Your Stable is really moving along. Such details and backstitching on top of that. Love your tenacity:)

SO awesome that hubby joins along. My hubby will paint with me and I thought that was rare. I bet they would get along. :-)
Love following the Cut Thru SAL.
