September Gifted Gorgeousness

Hi Blogger Friends.  The surgery on my wrist went well.  I am finally able to start stitching and crocheting a little bit.  Only problem is my stitchy bug is still on vacation.  I think I am going to start something new.  A LHN or CCN piece for an autumn SAL on facebook.

It's time for my late GG post.  This is being hosted by JO.  We all have projects that have been gifted to us or pieces that we are doing as gifts.  The Magazine was gifted to me by our wonderful hostess.  I made a tad bit of progress on Mini New York by Satsuma Street.

I have been working on my Groovy Granny afghan.  This is the first strip minus the last round.

I will be back Friday for the smalls SAL.  I actually managed to finish 2.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such nice comments.   Linda

So good to hear that everything went well and that you can already stitch and crochet a little bit. And I'm sure that your stitchy bug will be back shortly. Starting something new is always a good remedy :)
Nice progress on Mini New York. And that crochet project looks just awesome.

Great news about the surgery! Glad you can already stitch and crochet.
I totally understand about the stitching bug needing a break, mine went AWOL for a while but is now back full of energy :)
Hope the same applies to you!

I'm so glad your surgery went well! It's okay to leave your stitchy bug in it's home for a bit and recover. I'm sure it will come back with a vengeance soon. :)

I'm sure you are so relieved to have that surgery over with, Linda--hope your wrist heels quickly. And I hope the stitching mojo returns, too--mine is also AWOL!

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. Even with the absence of the stitchy bug, hope it reappears soon.
The crochet is an interesting shape, how does it go together?

You don't have enough WIPS? hahaha. I'm so glad your wrist is better, and a fall SAL sounds like a fun way to get your mojo percolating.

I am glad your surgery went well! Hopefully that stitch-y bug will wander back in :D
Love the afghan - I think I have that pattern (or at least one named that) in an afghan book - it's so neat!
