Hi All, Thanks for looking and for the comments. Because I finished 2 pictures I got to start a new one. It is The Mercantile by LHN. I have worked on it the last 11 days. I just love it and it is so much fun to work on. I sure hope Diane designs some more like these. I shoulda been born a cowgirl.
The Mercantile - LHN 14 ct lambswool
I have decided to put one strand a day into a BAP/UFO. I picked Alphabet Blocks by CHS. I figure (I love simple math and if I could kick myself in the butt I would for not going into some field of math. My parents would'nt let me go to college) the blocks that still need the letter, word and fill in should take 6 - 7 strands each. With my calculations I should be able to get 5 blocks a month done which would take me thru June and I could get it framed and enter it into the county fair the end of July. The only problem is that it has more cat hair than my cats. lol The upside - makes the floss stronger.
So far so good. I have worked on it for 3 days. Am working on the E. Got the big E done and part of the little e (1 strand), the word elephant and 1 strand of the orangey.
I am going to try and post an update once a week, but darn, I would rather spend the day looking at everybody elses blogs. Thats why I don't have the Mercantile done.
Thanks for looking. Linda

I'm so sorry! :(
But it's never too late!
Love both of your WIP's! I have the alphabet squares and will need to pull it out because yours looks wonderful. Keep up the good work.
Linda, Really looking good! I so agree with you about LHN pieces. They are so much fun. Keep up the good work (I know what you mean about looking at others' blogs!) :D Cathryn
Linda, your blog is wonderful! I just love visiting it, and like you, I'd get a lot more stitching done if I didn't read the blogs. But they're so inspiring! And enabling! You're like me and have cats with whom you stitch. I have 5. Anyway, I love your taste in designers. I have tons of LHN and CCN and love 'em. However, I'll have to check and see of I have The Mercantile. Yours looks great! I also love Lizzie Kate and CHS and have many of both. Now to STITCH them all! Great job on the blog and the stitching! Love the kitties too!
Hi Linda! Looks like we have a lot in common! Thanks for visiting my blog (http://tickledpinkinstitches.blogspot.com) and the reason I have lymph edema is because I had breast cancer and had 24 lymph nodes removed. I just finished chemo in December. I also love math (and did get a math degree, unfortunately I wasn't able to use my degree as DH decided to join the Army so I've been following him around the world for so many years, my degree is now obsolete). We are two peas in a pod!! As for your stitching, it is amazing!! I'll be cheering from the sidelines with Mouse as you finish your Alphabet Blocks! And cat hair...it's just another specialty fiber in my book! (I have a cat too!) *Hugs*
It is coming up nicely, good work! And please keep it going, really would like to see it finished!
It's beautiful, and I second the comment about it never being too late to go to college! I'm 52, and I just started taking the last few classes I need to finish the degree I started way back when I was 17!
By the way--check your chart carefully. You've left out the letter R in FABRIC.
I love this LHN chart, it's on my "to do list" (I have all the furniture, time miss me).
Bisxxx
