Starts 16 - 19 DSDUCJFC - CAL - TUSAL

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my last posts.  I really do appreciate them.  Several of you mentioned 365 starts in your comments.  No way!!  My plan after the 59 starts - when I finish 1 - I will start 5.  I'm partially blind in my right eye and some days my left eye doesn't see real good.  I don't know how many more years I will be able to stitch.  So, if I never finish any of them I can at least say I got to work on all the ones that I wanted to.  First up:

Week 4 - Mini Rings of Change Crochet along - This is being hosted by Kate of Stitches, Scraps and Sparkles in the Sun.  This is so much fun.   I sure didn't want to stop.  I can see so many more afghans being made in this color combination.

Day 16 - Disney Princesses - Wee Little Stitches

Day 17 - Istanbul - Tiny Modernist  (Just noticed she has 8 more of these that I don't have.)

Day 18 - Pretty Little Amsterdam - Satsuma Street  (Just finished cutting the fabric for all 10 of them so I can start for the challenge.)

Day 19 - By Golly Be Jolly - Santa 2000 - Lizzie Kate

It's time for our first Totally Useless Stitch along post of the year.  This is where we save our floss or yarn ends and post a picture of them on the New Moon.  That floss jar looks really sad for having 19 starts in it.  (I do use my floss down to nubbins)

Thanks for looking.   Linda

I love both those city series but I think Satsuma Street are my favourites.
I'm bookmarking this page so next year when you have 365 starts I can remind you LOL.
I'm very mean with my thread too, right down to the last mm

Beautiful starts! I love those Disney Princesses. I may actually have to visit Wee Little Stitches today... :D

Lovely starts! I love that you pick really colourful designs. I hope that your eyesight holds out for as long as possible, it would be such a shame if you couldn't continue to stitch.

Great starts and lovely colours in your crochet. If you have any eye questions give me a buzz. :)

Sorry I started the ball rolling on 365 new starts. I'm sure none of us want to put you under any pressure!!!
I didn't realize you had an eye problem. I certainly wouldn't have known from your stitching as it's always so neat. I hope it hold out a long time for you yet.
As for your new starts - crochet-love, pincesses-love, Istanbul-love (though not as much as the PLCs), Amsterdam - LOVE A LOT. Santa 2000 LOVE! Get the idea???
Now looking forward to your next 3 or so starts! Happy stitching! :)

Your blanket is gorgeous! The colors are very striking. Love the new starts, especially the Lizzie Kate (of course). Those Satsuma charts are neat; I've been eyeing them. Great ort jars.

Lovely starts. You're just being frugal - I do the same. Maybe we should start a challenge - Who has the tiniest ORTS? LOL

Love these projects! My favourite is the Pretty Little Amsterdam one :) I also love the London one from the same designer.

I also use my threads until the needle is longer thatn the remaining piece of thread. That's why it's useless for me to join the TUSAL - my glass would never hold enough threads to be worth showing, lol.
Nice new starts again, Linda. I love Amsterdam design best among these city skylines.
