Start 2 - DSDUCJFC and SAL's

Hi Blogger Friends.  I'm still on track.

The Big Bang Theory - Wee Little Stitches
This is my all time favorite show in the whole wide world.  I tried for the 3 1/2 years that I knew Debbie to get her to watch this show.  She never did.  She told me she didn't want to watch a bunch of science nerds.  LOL

Onto ALL the stitch-a-longs that I signed up for.  Oh somebody help me please.

1. Debbie's Super Duper Ultimate Crazy January/February Challenge.  You can read all about it HERE.
I also started a facebook group and you can join HERE.
In case you don't know who Debbie is:  this is my favorite picture of her.

2. Turtle Trot - This is being hosted by Claudette of BAP Attack.  We pick 10 projects to work on through the year and post before and after progress pictures on the 10th of each month.  You can still sign up HERE.

3. Smalls SAL - This is hosted by Heather of Stitching Lotus.  You stitch a small project during the month and post on the last Wednesday.  You can sign up HERE.

4. Gifted Gorgeousness - This is hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching.  You can still sign up and read all about it HERE.

5. Stitch From Stash - Hosted by Mel of Epic Stitching.  This one is closed.  I can spend $25.00 a month on stash.  (good luck with that).

6. A New Stitchy Start - Hosted by Tammy of I Want to do One More Stitch.  This one is also closed.  We started a BAP on January 1 and will post progress pictures the end of the month.

7. TUSAL - Hosted by Sharon of It's Daffycat.  Save your floss ends in something an post a picture of them on the New Moon.  She said she would be hosting it again this year but doesn't have the sign up ready yet.

8. Joan Elliott Calendar -  This is hosted my Mii of Mii Stitch.  This is a little calendar of 12 Joan Elliott designs found in TWOCS magazine.  I'm still waiting for my charts.

9. Year of the Acronym (YOTA) - This is being hosted by Pull the Other Thread.  Pick a project to work on and post a progress picture on the first Saturday of the month.

If that wasn't enough, I signed up for a crochet-a-long.  This is being hosted by Kate of Stitches, Scraps and Sparkles in the Sun.  If you crochet, go check it out.

I have an Excedrin headache and I'm going to go take some Tylenol and cut more fabric.

Thanks for looking.  Linda

Great new start. I agree with Debbie. The show doesn't sound interesting to me at all. I already have way too much to watch anyway haha. Lots of fun SALs. I look forward to watching your updates. Keep up that gorgeous stitching!!

You go, girl! You've got this! :)

For the record, I've started posting pictures of the Christmas decorating at the tree with all the ornies on it -- I may be slow, but I wasn't ignoring you. :)

Big Bang is a show about life - to call it a show about science nerds is like calling Seinfeld a show about a guy and his ex-girlfriend; it's technically true, but hardly the point of the show! Anyway, it looks like you'll have quite hectic ends of the month this year, I admire how ambitious you are!

In theory, if you've signed up for 10 SALs we should see an awful lot of stitching progress this year! I can't imagine what your posting diary looks like - hope you're organized! I like your second start too. :)

Lovely photo of Debbie and a wonderful way to remember her!

I've not watched Big Bang Theory but the design is very cute!

Good luck with all those SAL's, might be worth making a spreadsheet to keep track of them all! If you want, I can always put something together for you if it helps?

Amazing number of SALs Linda, maybe you could have a SAL buddy for each one to remind you when it's time to post! I love The Big Bang Theory, it's one of my favourites. Must look this design out some time!

You're always such an inspiration with all of your SAL's and WIP's! My goal this year is to finish up enough of my pieces so I can join in next year! Good luck, can't wait to see the progress!

You're not doing the WIPocalypse? There's still time to sign up! You don't want the world to end and there still being unstarted projects in your stash LOL.

Are you definitely getting the Joan charts? If not, then let me know.

Good Lord! You are signed up for more SAL's than me!

Nice start :-) Haven't seen the show but I hear it's funny. Doing all the crazy SALs with you except for two. Well, one; I'd love to do the Joan Elliot calendar but I can't find a copy of the magazine anywhere. I wasn't signed up for Gifted Gorgeousness but I'm off to do that now. Why not? Add to the craziness!

oh I love that picture of Debbie too!
I'm doing 6 starts, one for every letter in her name, but some of them hide multiple projects in them, so all in all I'll be starting 29 designs.
I love your BBT piece, have fun with it!
happy xxx, chiara

Wow, this going to be a very interesting year for you, Linda, with all these SALs. And SALs are so much fun. I'm in four of your SALs as well and look forward to reading all your posts about them.

Such a lovely picture of Debbie.

Love those little pixel people charts. I have Scooby Doo. My niece used to perform the theme song standing on the fireplace's raised hearth (a natural stage). I want to stitch it to remember those times. So many SALs; I'm sure you will keep up with aplomb.

Wow, you've joined so many SALs! I have mixed feelings about the Big Bang Theory haha. As somewhat of a science nerd I dunno how I feel about the stereotypes! :b

I didn't join half as many SALs as you but I still found that getting one of those cheap weekly planners at a dollar store and writing down all the dates has helped me a lot. It even keeps me somewhat on track with just how long pieces take!
