Finish #4 and Week 9 Progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  Yeah!!!  A finish.

Cheshire Cat - MrsPeggottyArts on Etsy
14ct white aida
Started 4-12-17
Finished 5-31-18

I made a tad bit of progress on these after Cheshire was finished.

This is Alice and the Flamingo and is replacing Cheshire.

My birthday is in September and I have some stitching ideas.  I'm older than dirt so I won't do that many starts, but here are my ideas.
1. Do a start a day.
2. Do a finish a day. (I figure if I work on 30 smalls for the next 3 months and get them to just needing a couple hours each to finish I could finish one a day.
3. Alternate with one start and one finish for the month.
Anybody want to join me?

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

Woohoo!!! @ your finish. It looks great. Chip n Dale are looking good, too! Those are interesting patterns. Hahaa! @ older than dirt. When I was in my late 40's a kid in my class asked if there was electricity when I was little. We older than dirt stitchers need to stick together. I will join you. I have a whole stack of smalls to finish from Stitch Maynia, so I'm ahead of the game already! lol

Huge congratulations on your finish - and what a very apt quote for most of the cross-stitching community!
I'm afraid I won't join in with your September challenge but I will enjoy watching your progress. Personally I'd like to see you achieve 30 finishes, but as smalls don't seem to be your thing at the moment that might become more stress than fun. Whatever you decide to run with I'm sure you'll have a great time! :)

Yay! Congrats on the lovely finish, Linda!:) Good progress on other projects too.
Good luck with your new challenge! You will enjoy smalls since you have been stitching bigger ones for quite some time now.

Great finish! I am not sure what to tell you about your birthday plans. I am also wondering what to do for my birthday month which is in July. I SO want to start something new, but have stuff that MUST get done.
Keep us posted!

Great finish, Linda! I might join you for one of your ideas, maybe the one new start and a finish a month. I already know what I'll be starting in September. Chip n Dale are coming right along. Hope it hasn't turned hot just yet where you're at. It's gotten toasty here, ugh.

First, congratulations on the finish! It looks like Chip 'n Dale will be next!

I'm also older than dirt, but I like the idea of one start and one finish a day! I'm assuming you mean 30 starts and 30 finishes for the month? I just may join you, but I might have to do some advance preparation too.

Happy Dance for the Cheshire Cat! And yay for the return of Alice too.

I like the idea of 30 Finishes for you. Maybe I'll share 30 previous finishes...
