So Many Stitches a Week - Week 17

Hi Blogger Friends.  I managed my 2150 stitches again this week.  Actually I did a few more than that.  I sometimes have a hard time stopping.

Sweet Spring

Dog Park

Garden Cat

Pretty Little New York

The Mad Hatter

Jane Eyre

Cheshire Cat

I have a couple gals that are going to join me next year and a few maybes.  Who else is going to join our So Many Stitches a Week craziness?  You can do 1 day a week or like me 7 projects a week.  It really is a lot of fun and I find that I am getting a whole lot more stitching done and I'm not stressed.  Pick one of those projects that you love and want to finish but hate working on.  You just might get it finished next year if you join us.

On a side note.  My Mom passed away 23 years ago on the 23rd.  I was thinking a lot about her this week.  One thing made me giggle for days.  I'm sure a lot of us had nicknames when we were growing up.  My Mom either called me SKUNK or TURDBIRD.  All I can say is I must have been a really smelly kid.  What was your nickname?

Thank you for all of the nice comments.  I so enjoy reading them.

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

April Smalls and Gifted Gorgeousness SAL's

Hi Blogger Friends.  It's the last Friday of the month and time for the Smalls SAL post.  This is being hosted by Heather of Stitching Lotus.  We pick a small project to stitch on and post a finished picture on the last Friday of the month.

Tiny Tidings III - Lizzie Kate
14ct Oatmeal
Started 12-10-16
Finished 4-2-17

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS is being hosted by Jo.  We all have projects that have been gifted to us or pieces that we are doing as gifts.  This SAL is so we can work on those and post on the 15th.  The magazine was gifted to me by our wonderful hostess.  This is  mini London by Satsuma Street.  I finished the bridge.

So Many Stitches a Week - Week 15

Hi Blogger Friends.   HAPPY EASTER

I was able to meet my goals on all of my projects again this week.  I am so enjoying working on these.  I have got 3 picked out so far for next year.  I did have to put Pretty Little Barcelona back in the UFO bin.  I really hate stitching with light colors on light fabric.  It was hard to count the stitches and I just wasn't enjoying working on it.  Can you guess what I started??

I got tired of working on critters so I stitched some flowers.

Sweet Spring

Dog Park

Garden Cat

Pretty Little New York

The Mad Hatter

Jane Eyre

The Cheshire Cat  (Did you guess right?)

Thank you as always for the nice comments.  There are a couple gals joining me next year in my wonderful craziness.  Does anyone else want to join us?

So Many Stitches a Week - Week 14

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for all of the sweet comments.  I truly appreciate all of them.  I still managed to get the stitches done on all of my projects this week.

Sweet Spring

Dog Park

Garden Cat

Pretty Little New York

Pretty Little Barcelona - (I do hate the light floss on the light fabric)

The Mad Hatter

Jane Eyre - I made a little better progress this week.

I joined a SAL group on Facebook.  2017 Dimensions Kit SAL   I will be starting this one tomorrow.
This kit is from 1982.  I will be using my own fabric and DMC floss.

So Many Stitches a Week - Week 13

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thanks for all of the comments on my last posts or for just stopping by.  I did work on all of my projects this week.

Sweet Spring

Dog Park

Garden Cat

Pretty Little New York

Pretty Little Barcelona

The Mad Hatter

Jane Eyre - I didn't progress to far on her.  I think I spent to much time goofing off.
I heard from Betta from MrsPeggotyArts on Etsy.  She said the software she uses wouldn't allow her to change it.  She said to just leave a column off of the left side.  With the top and bottom borders being 4 rows I felt the sides should also be 4 rows so I just added a row on the right.

She also did the nicest thing.  This will be my gifted gorgeousness next year if not later this year.

Dear Linda,
By the way I've just send you Marie Antoinette pattern via WeTransfer to thank you for your purchases and collaboration! Your support is very precious for me:)
Thanks

IS ANYBODY INTERESTED IN DOING A CASUAL "SO MANY STITCHES A WEEK" SAL NEXT YEAR?  If so, please let me know in your comments.
