Week 13/4 progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful stitchy Christmas.  Its hell to get old.  I am so confused with all of my stitching plans for next year.  I need to be told what to stitch on and when.  Trying to get DH to keep track is like pulling teeth.  LOL

Ok here goes.

I didn't quite get Alice and the Flamingo by MrsPeggottyArts done but I did 4608 stitches this month.  She will be my first finish in January.

I did about 95 stitches a day for the month on Alice by DoNa Stitch.

A little progress on ABC's of Christmas by Lizzie Kate.

Queen of Hearts by MrsPeggottyArts will be my SAL piece with Jo.
The super wheel thingy for the month for the stained glass pieces by AvroraCS.  I did a strand a day or about 95 stitches each day.
Alice - 7 days

Stitch - 4 days

Ariel - 4 days

Simba - 3 days

Frozen - 3 days

Mickey - 2 days

Tinkerbell - 2 days

Donald - 2 days

Beauty and the Beast - 2 days

Winnie the Pooh - 1 day

Monsters University - 1 day

I will be making a page for my 70 projects next year.  It will, of course, by all of these.  I will also be working on all 9 of the DoNa Stitch pieces which I will be starting 5 next month with 4 already started.

I wish you all a Wonderful Happy New Stitchy Year.

Linda

Week 12/4 progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for all of the nice comments.  You all said you like seeing my weekly updates on the stained glass pieces.  I will do a year end post with all of them.  I'm thinking next year maybe I will post them every other week.

I made good progress this week but won't get it finished.

I'm really enjoying working on this one.

I told you - not much progress

This one either

Or this one

I decided on my 70th birthday challenge next year.  I am going to work on 70 different projects.  There is about 25 in my rotation.  The rest will be whatever.  I might work on one until finished or pick one and work on it for the day, etc.  Just what I want as long as I work on 70 different ones for the year.  I am going to be setting up a page this week.

A Very Merry Christmas to all of you.  Hope Santa brings you lots of stitching goodies.

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

Week 11/4 progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for stopping by and all the nice comments.  I'm going to quit boring you with the stained glass pieces each week.  I will show my progress pics at the end of the month.

I'm trying to get my 3100 stitches done on Alice and the Flamingo this week.  I really would like to get it done but I'm just not sure I can.

I got Alice in Wonderland caught up with a strand a day for the month.

ABC's of Christmas by Lizzie Kate.  I'm using this one for a month long challenge.  I haven't worked on it since 2015.

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

Week 10/4 progress and 3 starts

Hi Blogger Friends.  Being in the hospital for 3 days doesn't make for productive stitching.  This is becoming a bad habit that I don't like but I am fine.

I added the dark green on the lower left side.

I am excited.  I got the black done on Frozen.

I added 1 strand of brown on the window frame.

I was doing really good on Alice last night until I had to frog about a 100 stitches.

My 3 Starts.  I still have 3 to start this month.

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

Week 8/4 progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  I had an okay stitching week.

The second half of the challenge I did 1418 stitches.  Total stitches for the 12 days - 2813.

I'm very close to getting 2 more page finishes.

I finished the rose and cover.

Alice in Wonderland by DoNa Stitch.  I did 574 stitches for a five day counting challenge.

New plans.  Kate (no blog) and I will be working/starting 6 stained glass charts from AvroraCS.  We will be working on a total of 11.  She has an app on her phone called the Super Wheel.  She listed the designs and spins the wheel.  What ever design comes up for the day we can do one strand, one hour, a hundred stitches or whatever we want.  I'm looking forward to this one.  We will start Dec. 1 and continue next year.

Second thought,  I'm going to be 70 (oh my gosh) next year,  I have a few ideas.  Work on 70 different projects (other than my normal ones) in the year,  A combo of finishes, starts and UFO's,  I figure I can work on each one for 5 days.  Anybody want to join me??

Thanks for stopping by.    Linda

Week 7/4 progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for stopping by and leaving such encouraging comments.  They are greatly appreciated.  It's just so sad that so many people have quit blogging.  I really miss all of them.

I had some better progress this week.

I did 1395 stitches on Cars in 6 days.  I'm very sad.  This is the last counting challenge of this kind that the group is going to do.

Still way behind on Alice and the Flamingo for the month.

So close to finishing the black on Frozen.

So tired of stitching with blue.  (Sure wish it was my favorite color - green.)

Keeping up with Alice.

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

PS  New stitching plans starting next month.  Stay tuned.
