Finish #8

Hi friends,  Not alot of stitching again this week.  I still feel blah.  I think the heat is getting to me and I just sit and watch TV or play spider solitare on this damn computer - instead of stitching.  I think one of my problems is that I don't like the rotation that I'm doing.  I am just going to stitch whatever - whenever except for my Lizzie Kate Monday SAL and hopefully my one strand a day in The Library(I'm only 15 days behind). lol   The other thing is I really want to start something new and think I'm gonna in the next day or two.

I did finish one of my Up for a Challenge pieces.  It should have been a UFO, but I was trying to get 15 for the challenge.

Janlynn kit - Kitty Cat designed by Diane Arthurs

Christmas Rules - Lizzie Kate

The Library - LHN

(Debbie)  I entered both of these in the county fair last year and they both took 2nd place.  They are both designed by Diane Arthurs.

Smokey - This is how he sleeps every night in the hallway.  In fact even during the day, no matter where he naps, he lays like this.  So does his brother Skittles. (There breed is an Elf)

Thanks for looking and all the great comments.    Linda

2012 Crazy Challenge

Is anybody out there ready to start the 2012 challenge!!!  I sure am.  I tired of working on the pieces I have started and so want to start some new ones.

My math brain kicked in the other day - I figured if I could complete one project a day - I have enough charts and kits to last me for about 15 years.  Pretty sad huh!  And I just keep buying.  Just did an order with 123 Stitch for the new Lizzie Kate, LHN, CCN, BC and a BBD.  Somebody shoot this damn computer!!!!

Okay, on with my 2012 challenge for everybody.  UFO's will become AH (ancient history) to be worked on at some point in time.  Up for a Challenge WIP pieces will be moved to the UFO list.  2011 Crazy Challenge pieces will be moved to Up for a Challenge.  AND, than we have the 2012 Crazy Challenge to start one new project a day for the first 15 days in January.
ANYBODY READY TO JOIN ME??

I'll tell you one thing for sure - I am going to be doing mostly small to easy pieces.

I leave with a couple pictures of my furbabies.
son Sparky - mom Dottie  (just a tad bit of charts on middle shelf and kits on bottom)

This was taken in June when I went to go to bed one night.
Bottom left - Dottie   right - Sparky
Top left - Midnite   Middle - Mocha  Right - Moon Dragon

Thanks for looking and let me know whos up for the 2012 challenge.   Linda

Finish #7

Hi Friends, Despite not having a good stitching week - I did get a piece finished. I just felt blah and did a whole lot of nothing except play on this damn computer. I didn't work on Christmas Rules, Neighborhood Row or Chocolate Shoppe. AND, I am 10 days behind in my one strand a day on The Library.

I did do some on the Library.

My ta-da finish (sorry for the crappy picture)(click on image for better view)

I just love in and will be ordering more.

I had started the second one in that booklet, (barely)  but can't decide if I want to work on it or something else.  Has anybody else noticed that her earlier samplers were alot busier(?) than the ones she does now.

Thanks for looking and I appreciate all the comments.   Linda
