Finish 5 - I did 3279 stitches this month.

We don't talk about how much didn't get done on Donald this month.

Week 12 Progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thanks as always for the nice comments.

I joined Jo for her Longest Day Marathon on Thursday.  Starting point.

I worked on the Flamingo.  Also progress for the week.  I have done more white on it but didn't take a pic.

Only 2 colors left on Chip and Dale.  I will get it done this week.

Poor Donald has been hanging out with the dust bunnies for the last 3 months.  He should have had all the black done a loooong time ago.

AvroraCS just released a new chart.  I will be starting this one on July 1.

Week 11 progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for the awesome comments.  Only 2 weeks left for The Ivory Needle FB challenge.  I will have to come up with new post titles after that.  LOL  I have been keeping up with getting a piece to a finish every 3 days for my September birthday challenge.  I now have 5 pieces ready.

Getting there.  It will be done by the end of month.

I added a couple hundred stitches this week.

Still trying to catch up with Jo.   Looking at the before picture does show I made some progress.

This is me in bed.  That is my arm and how 14 month old Charlie sleeps.

Week 10 Progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  I am so excited that a few of you will be joining me for my September craziness.  I have decided to attempt to do 30 finishes for the month.  I figure if I get one to a finish every three days I can accomplish the finish a day.  So far I'm on track.  I have 3 to a finish point already.  Kinda scary for me.  I will be doing a start on September 14th which is my birthday.

Dorothy and Toto from MrsPeggottyArts on Etsy.  She gifted me the chart and I just love it.  The background is so different from her other ones and looks like alot of fun to stitch.

I got 2133 stitches done on Alice and the Flamingo in the last six days.  This is like the fifth SAL I've done with Jo and haven't finished one yet.  You can click on her name to see her progress.  She's only 5 months ahead of me.  We have to do about a hundred stitches a day to have it done by the end of the year.  I think I can catch up to her by then.

I'm counting stitches on this one for a FB challenge.  It doesn't have to be done until the end of the month.  Next month I will start coloring in Ariel.

I would like to get the black done on Donald this month but I will have to do at least two strands a day.  Not sure if I will make it.  If I do, I will work the black on Frozen.

Finish #4 and Week 9 Progress

I made a tad bit of progress on these after Cheshire was finished.

This is Alice and the Flamingo and is replacing Cheshire.

My birthday is in September and I have some stitching ideas.  I'm older than dirt so I won't do that many starts, but here are my ideas.
1. Do a start a day.
2. Do a finish a day. (I figure if I work on 30 smalls for the next 3 months and get them to just needing a couple hours each to finish I could finish one a day.
3. Alternate with one start and one finish for the month.
Anybody want to join me?
