SAL Updates

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my yard.  We have put up 23 strands of lights on the house and have about 15 to go.  Then we will start putting together the deer, santas, trees, etc.

Here is my progress on my 2 SAL pieces with Debbie.

Before and After

It only took me 42 years to get a front yard.

10 tons of rock and a 1,000 sq ft of sod later.

Now I'm getting really excited.  Can't hardly wait to start putting out the Christmas decorations.  We have about 65 pieces (alot animated) plus about 14,000 lights to put on the house.  Will show pics when were done.

Dog House, Kitty Cottage, Trick or Treat Updates

Hi All,  Greetings from cold and rainy Northern Ca.  Thank you all for the comments.  I so enjoy reading them.

Here are my updates for the week.  Dog House and Trick or Treat are SAL's with Debbie.

 

This is such a fun stitch.  The only thing I don't like is the two shades of orange in the pumpkin.  You can hardly see a difference.  If I can find something else, I may change it.

We hope to have these pieces done by the end of the year.  We have both joined the Ultimate Crazy January Challenge.  We will be doing SAL's on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I have decided that this has to be a male cat.  He has caused me nothing but heartache.  I have had to rip him out twice.  lol  I think he's good to go now.

My stitching/blogger friend Debbie and I are doing a Friday SAL.  We are stitching Trick or Treat by Ursula Michael (pictures is previous post).  When we finish this one we are going to start a new one.  It will be Halloween House by Ursula Michael.
