A Little Progress, Stash and Happy Birthday too ME

Hi Blogger Friends.  My stitching is returning slowing.  I have made some progress.

Bought myself some birthday stash cause you know I really didn't have enough.

The 12th was our 20th wedding anniversary and today is my ?? birthday.  My in-laws are taking us on a 7-day cruise to Mexico aboard Carnival Splendor the first week in October.   (This will be their 29th cruise)  I'm excited because we haven't been on an out of town vacation in 14 years.    But, I think I've watched Titantic too many times.  lol  My philsophy is God didn't make us to fly in the air or float on water and I'm gonna be doin both.  Boats (ship) and planes OH MY!!

Found Camera - Neck Surgery - Small Update - Start 68

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for all the well wishes.  They are greatly appreciated.  I am doing fine.  I had an Angiogram on the 31st.  My heart is 100% clog free.  My right Carotid Artery just has a tad bit of plague and the left one was blocked solid.  On the 1st, the other doctor made a 4" incision in my neck and scooped out the artery.  I'm all better again.
The morning we were leaving for the hospital DH and ME found the camera.  We had looked in and under but not on top.  There was a paper on top of the dresser and I told him to pick it up, and the camera was under it.  Yeah.
I have really done hardly any stitching in the last couple months.  One strand a week just doesn't cut it.  I am trying to get my mojo back again.  I think I need to start something new.  lol   Here is my sad little update.

Lost Camera

Hi Blogger Friends.  I wanted to post some very sad update pics, but DH seems to have misplaced the camera.  We've been looking for six days.  Have tore every drawer, cupboard, dresser, underneath everything, etc.  I even got desparate and looked in the canisters.  No camera.
I haven't been stitching because I had another round of antibotics (2 different kinds) and a night in the ER a few weeks ago.  Another infection in my left arm.  It all healed up great even my hands.  I was so excited. 
A couple months ago I was getting out of the car and looked directly into the sun and my left eye went 95% black for about 15 min.  I just put it off as looking into the sun.  It happened five more times.  I had my yearly physcial on the 13th and mentioned it to my doctor.  Long story short, my carotid artery on the left side of my neck is 90% blocked.  This can cause temporary or permanent blindness, stroke, etc.  I go into the hospital tomorrow July 31 for angiogram of the neck and heart.  If he finds any problems or blockages in the heart he will fix them when he's in there taking pictures.  Than on Wednesday a different doctor will clean out the carotid artery.  If everything goes okay, I will be home Thursday.  I am basically blind in my right eye so if I lose sight in the left one I'm done for.  I sure hope to be back with a happy update.  (Heck, maybe hubby will find the camera while I'm gone).

this is hubby linda's home now everything went great, her heart clean, and they cleaned out the artery that was about 98% closed. the day before she went to the hospitol i found the camera, it was i top of the dresser underneath some paper. js

Start # 67 - A Small Update - BAD BAD Hubby

Hi Blogger Friends.  Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  My palm on my right hand had a blister a little bigger than a silver dollar and my left thumb from nail across side of hand and up index finger was all blistered.  Than I decided to get an infection in my left arm again.  I haven't done much stitching the last 3 weeks, but I'll show ya what I got.

Cackle - Raise the Roof - This is the new Monday SAL with Debbie.  I have changed some of the colors.  I was thinking of doing the moon in yellow/orange varigated or with the light lavender.  What do you all think I  should  use.

I am starting a new SAL with Carrie and Chelle.  All Hearts Come Home by Diane Arthurs.  If anyone would care to join us contact Chelle.

Mocha (brown) - Miss Murphy (silver) - Maggie (bengal)  Mocha is a very sweet cat and those other two are always fighting with her.  They start it.  Oh my, what a shock too see them all sleeping together.

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for all the nice comments.  I haven't done alot of stitching, but some.  My left thumb and index finger and the palm of my right hand are broke out in nasty blisters again.  I guess its just something I'm going to have to live with.  No problem or whatever.  On to stitchy stuff.

Finally!! An Update

Hi Blogger Friends.  Sorry I haven't been around.  I've had a bad few weeks health wise.  Three weeks ago, I had an infection in my leg - 10 days of antibotics - 5 days later an infection in my arm - on day 8 of antibotics.  My hands got really bad with the welts/blisters - spent 5 days in bed and was able to start stitching again this past Tuesday.  (All is much better now)  I only worked on two pieces.  They are both so much fun to stitch that I don't want to stop.  Here are the updates:

Wow! Are you tired yet?  lol    One other thing I'm excited about.  I read several blogs that do model stitching for designers.  I would not do that (I have too much speciality fibers flying around and I can't stitch on the higher count fabric).  However, I also love to crochet.  I signed up to be a pattern tester and tested my first square.
