Hi Blogger Friends. Thank you for all the great comments about our cruise. We really had a good time and it was nice to get away.
I only need 30 more starts to reach my personal goal of 100. I just want to start pieces that I know I want to stitch someday. I don't really care if they ever get finished. At least I can say I started them. Besides, I don't know how to make ornaments or flatfolds or pin keeps or box tops etc. I can frame smaller pieces, but I really don't have very much wall space in this house. I have at least 100 in a plastic container that need to be framed (I can do about 90% of them). They are easier to store unframed. Okay on to the pics.
Start 69 - Mermaid Myrna - Imaginating - Diane Arthurs (my favorite designer)
Start 70 - Summer Season - Imaginating - Sandra Cozzolino
Cackle - Raise the Roof
Lady Liberty - Imaginating - Diane Arthurs
I started backstitching the cat on the bottom. Man, this has got hours and hours of bs. It's a good thing that I really enjoy bs.
Little Sassy is getting so big. She's trying to lay on my arm as I type this.
Look at the neat picture I got of this bird on my neighbors light pole.
This took off while we were on vacation.
This one bloomed while we were on vacation.
Sparky and Snowflake posing.
It's time to start thinking about putting up our outside Christmas display. It takes us about three weeks. The 30 plus extension cords are a nightmare. I'm sure glad my husband has to figure out that part. lol He also puts everything together. My job is to just decide where to put it and change my mind 10 times and irrate him. (Not really, he is so sweet and mellow. Has to be to put up with me.)
Also time to think about the UCJC2013. Yeah 31 more starts.
I'll leave you with another towel critter from our cruise.
You can click on any photos to enlarge.
Thanks for looking. Linda

Great starts, and love the other pieces too! Your cats are all so pretty! That bird pic is pretty spectacular!
Wow Linda! What a fantastic blog post! Cackle is soooo close to a finish! Have you thought about rotating your pieces on the wall? Maybe they can take turns being on display. I love the colors in Summer Season. You have a great start on that one.
That's an amazing photo you got of the bird. I wonder if it's an eagle or a hawk. The yellow flowers are beautiful. Your cats look very happy.
Can't wait to see your Christmas decorations!
I'm glad to see you got your stitching mojo back.
Great photos - that's one BIG bird! Love the furry babies too!
Love the pieces you have added to your WIPS good luck with the starts.
Love your Cats. Glad you enjoyed the cruise. I enjoy them, have been on three. Love the towel critters.
Can it possibly be almost a year from when you did all those starts??? OMG!!!! This year has FLOWN!
Charlotte was peeking over my shoulder and seen Myrna and now wants it.lol. Great new starts:)
Great new starts and lovely progress on your wips. Lovely photos.

You have a good start on your WIP's. Oh my the bird is huge...great photo. Super cute ways your towels were displayed. And you don't know how to make a ornament. I can suggest some really nice tutorials:
Vonna's site http://tts-learntofinish.blogspot.com/
have a look and save the site. ps scroll down after clicking on any link then you will see step by step with photos:)

Lovely new starts! Some designs are really nice! Love the little rabbit towel from the cruise. I wouldn't have want to use it to undo everything & then not be able to make it again :D
The back-stitching always makes it look so much better. I hate doing it but love the way it looks. Also that bird is huge! Do your cats get to go outside? I would be scared with that bird out there.
OMGoodness Linda. 100 projects egh. Wow. I probably have that many unfinished between crosstitching and quilting. LOL.
You really should give finishing ornaments a try. Honestly Linda, it is easy. Give yourself a bit of learning curb and you can do it:)
If you can frame, you can do ornies.
TFS.

Wow 100 starts! I admit to having a bin full of unframed projects... there's a lot in there I have no idea how many!
I have to say this site has some of the best finishing tutorials out there http://tts-learntofinish.blogspot.ca/ give them a try!
Wow you have so many starts I thought I was bad !
Your stitching looks fab.
Love your cats.
what a great fun post thanks for sharing, hugs.
Your starts look splendid - you always choose such fabulous projects!!!
My stockings are from a Bucilla kit called '30 Tiny Stockings'. The finishing doesn't look toooo hard but at the same time I'm not looking forward to it, lol!
Lovely kittens! I adore your pics of them!
Wow!!! That will be amazing if you can reach your personal goal of 100 starts, Linda!! And look at those sweet kitties--how comfy they look all cuddled up together :)
Lovely progress of your stitching and you are very creative with your towel critter. Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos of your wonderful cruise.
Wow, 100 new starts in one year. That's not bad. And I have to admit that the idea is somewhat intriguing. I'm looking forward to seeing what you will come up with until the end of the year.
