Mega Mini Month Madness - Final Post

Hi Blogger Friends. It's MMMM time.  This is a SAL being hosted by Pull The Other Thread.  You can see all the other SALongers HERE.  We are to work on smalls for the month of October and see how many we can get done.  Yeah!  I managed to get one more done for a total of 6 this month.  Sure wish I could do that every month.  The designs were fun to stitch but I'm really tired of doing the borders.  I'm glad that I'm almost done with this set.

October Small's SAL

I gotta go start organizing my 59 starts for next year.  I have about 70 pulled already and haven't even went through all the charts I just bought on Etsy.  I might be starting a new one everyday next year.  Anyone want to join me??  LOL

Traveling Treasure Chest

Hi Blogger Friends.  I was the next lucky pirate to receive the Traveling Treasure Chest.  This was started by Kim.  She picked some charts and kits that she no longer wanted and sent them to Teresa.  She picked out a couple and than added some and I was the next lucky pirate.  I picked out 3 and added several more and the next lucky pirate is Shelly.  These are the ones I choice.

As most of you know, I had a Saturday SAL with Debbie.  (There are still about 25 that we were going to be stitching on Saturdays.)  I'm so very happy that 4 wonderful stitching friends have joined me on Saturday. Four of us our working on Candy Cane Christmas by Ursula Michael and one is working on Good Morning.

My bad.  I didn't get a small finished again this week.  I wanted to finish the 15 I started last month.  I only have 2 done.  I don't think I'm going to make it.  I did work on 2.  But I'm still working on printing out charts and trying to get them organized.  And I'm starting to pull charts for the Jan/Feb starts next year.

I should get these done this week.

Mega Mini Month Madness - Post 3

Hi Blogger Friends. It's MMMM time.  This is a SAL being hosted by Pull The Other Thread.  You can see all the other SALongers HERE.  We are to work on smalls for the month of October and see how many we can get done.  I didn't get a mini finished this week.  I was working on my Turtle Trot pieces.

Then I decided I wanted to crochet another lapghan and went digging through my 44 plastic storage boxes.  Needless to say, they haven't been looked through in a looooong time.  My cats like to lay on the top boxes and boy was there alot of cat hair.  I took them all out of room and cleaned them and the hairy wall, etc.  Took me all day.

Worse than that, I went shopping on Etsy.  I bought 39 charts.  I have spent several days printing out the charts and trying to organize them in binders and folders.  (Not done yet.)

In between writing this post I'm getting rid of tops that I've had for 30 years.  I'm doing this so I can clean out the coat closet so I can put my rolls of aida fabric and my 59 starts for next year in there.  I have very bad cats and everything needs to be enclosed.  I also really really need to get back to my SAL pieces.

I did get a little stitching done on my small.  This is April Stamp by Lizzie Kate.

Linda's Turtle Trot SAL October Update

Hi Blogger Friends.  It's Turtle Trot time.  This is a SAL being hosted by Claudette of BAP Attack.  We pick 10 projects to work on throughout the year and see how many we can finish.  I'm quite pleased with the amount I got done on them this month.  I managed to work on all of them again but just by the hair of my chiny chin chin (which I do have).

1. Mitten Friends - Diane Arthurs - I did more on the mitten.

2.  6 Fat Men - Lizzie Kate - I did another strand of snow.

3.  Disney Heroes #16 -  Alina's XStitch - I feel like I sorta accomplished a little.

4.  Pretty Little New York - Satsuma Street - I worked on the buildings in the center.

5. Mermaid Myrna - Diane Arthurs - I finally finished her tail.

6. Dog Lessons for People - Lizzie Kate - I added two words and a fire hydrant.

7. Autumn Season - Sandra Cozzolino - I worked on the U and M and finished the inside border.

8. Spring Alphabet - Lizzie Kate - I was trying to get this one done for this post.  I will get it done by next post.

9. March Sampler - Waxing Moon Designs - I did 2 strands in the top banner.
