3 Finishes and a SAL Update

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you all for the encouraging comments on my last post.  I really appreciate them. I am so much happier with the decisions that I made.  Work on what I want, when I want and for as long as I want.
I did work on 3 Turtle Trots before I came up with my new plans.

ABC Christmas - Lizzie Kate

Mitten Friends - Diane Arthurs

Finish 8 -  Snow Day -  6 Fat Men - Lizzie Kate

Finish 10 and 11
Two of my DH co-workers had babies last month.  I decided to give them each a crocheted baby blanket.  I started them last Thursday and wanted to get them finished for his company picnic yesterday so I could give it to them.  I finished yesterday at the picnic and was able to give it to them.

Squircle Square - free pattern at Dly's Hooks and Yarns (Squircle is a circle in a square.)  I modified the squares some and they sure are fun to make.  I see me making lots of blankets with them in the future.

Sunday SAL - Santa's 12 Days of Christmas - Prairie Schooler - I had been working on this one for several days before I started the baby blankets.  He's almost done.

Tuesday SAL - Pretty Little London - Satsuma Street - I worked on this one last week but not this week yet.

Thanks for looking.   Linda

PS  Nancy at Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe is having an awesome Fourth of July giveaway.  Go enter for your chance to win.

Oh I just love those little blankets. Even squircle is fun to say haha. Thanks for the pattern!

Enjoy your new stitchy rotations. I feel like the snow day deserves a mega happy dance on it's own after the miles of white.

Love the baby blankets! My niece is expecting a little one in October so I'm looking for ideas. I to am working on 6 Fat Men among other projects. I love working on what I want when I want. I just don't want my stitching to feel like a "job". It's to relax and enjoy! The only deadlines I give my self on finishing is if it is a gift LOL. Enjoy every minute - life is to short!
Hugs,
Rose

Blankets are quick compared to cross stitch!

It seems funny seeing a London on white since I've been doing the Mini on black! I'm sure you'll catch me up soon.

Those blankets are beautiful. I loved your CS pieces. Great job on them. You asked about the Disney Car I'm doing. I got them from www.Crossstitchisland.com. Just click on patterns and then Disney Cars. Hope this helps.

Beautiful progress on everything! I love those blankets. I need to learn how to crochet. It's so much faster than knitting.
