Dec. Smalls SAL and Stuff

Hi Blogger Friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and got lots of stitchy goodies.  I bought myself about 30 charts because hubby doesn't know what to get.

I want to thank all of you for visiting my blog this year and a special thanks to those that leave comments.  I am still visiting your blogs and leaving comments but you don't get an email from me and no one can fix it.  Just know that I do read and comment.

I have read several blogs today that have done a year end post.  That would take me a week to do with all the pictures so I am going to do (hopefully) a short version.  I ended this year with 274 UFO's/WIP's.  I started 129 cross stitch projects this year and finished 18.  I also crocheted 2 baby blankets, 3 lapghans and 1 doggie blanket.

Onto next year.   I still have about 300 squares to crochet and than crochet the 800 squares together into 10 blankets by the end of April.  NO PROBLEM.  I HOPE to have 54 cross stitch projects fiinished by the end of April.  MIGHT NEED SOME LUCK WITH THIS ONE.  Yes, I am starting 366 cross stitch projects next year.  (I was tested and yes I'm certified crazy.)  LOL  I have the fabric cut for January and February and pretty much know what the rest of my starts are.  I'm sorta saving December for those new charts that insist on being bought and started.

It's the last Wednesday of the month and time for the last Smalls SAL post.  This is being hosted by Heather of Stitching Lotus.  We pick a small project to stitch on and post a finished picture on the last Wednesday of the month.

Christmas Blessings with Charm - Lizzie Kate
14ct Lemon Twist
Started 12-29-15
Finished 12-30-15

Cinderella's Castle - I only stitched on this 7 days this month but did get 1,033 stitches done.
12-30-15
11-30-15

I did finish the lapghan for my friend for Christmas and one for her doggie.

My orts for the year.

Thank you again for stopping by this year.  I hope you don't get tired of my posts next year.  My plans are to post my starts every couple days and post everyday in April.

HAPPY STITCHY NEW YEAR
Linda

366 is quite the ambition!! I panic when I think of how many hiding spaces I would have to use up if I were to begin that many. lol

Have a great Ringing In the New Year celebration :D

I loved reading your wrap-up of the year, Linda. And until now I have always thought that I had a lot of WIPs. But compared to you I have nothing, lol. I definitely love your attitude towards stitching - a lot of WIPs can make a stitcher happy :)
Great afghans that you crocheted.
And good luck with your 366 new starts in 2016.
Happy New Year!

With your purchases there's more WIPs in store for 2016, hooray! I forgot to take a picture of my Orts for the year, nice idea, you really had a great year:) Looking forward to your stitching updates next year. Have a Happy New Year:)

Linda, surely being certified "crazy" is a bit of an understatement?! Wouldn't "insane" be more accurate?! You're going to have well over 600 WIPs by the end of next year so maybe 2017 should be a year of 365 finishes?!
Anyway, good luck with all of your stitching and goals. I look forward to seeing how you will get on. :)

Oh my, you are going to be busy! I admire those of you who start all those new charts... But I know I'd never get them done that way.

Looking forward to seeing them all. Happy new year!

I think you have the right idea about Christmas gifts, Linda!! Sure wish I had done that, too :)

You've had another amazing year of creativity--I'm sure 2016 will be just as good or even better!! Wishing you and your family a lovely New Year (and I do appreciate all the kind comments you've left on my blog throughout the years!)...

Two hundred and... (jaw drops in amazement!)
I am going to avidly watch your 366 new starts this year, just to see if you can keep up with them all. I would love to see a list of what you intend to stitch but that would undoubtably take up WAY to much stitching time to compile!

Really good luck with them all.

Happy New Year :)

Wow!! Good luck for next year and that is an impressive pile of ORTs. I'm glad you're not worried about the crochet squares while you're starting a new cross stitch project every day. :)
