Gifted Gorgeousness, TUSAL and progress

Hi Blogger Friends.  It was so nice to take a break from blogging.  I have been reading all of your posts and have been commenting.  As usual, I'm late with my posts.

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS is being hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching.. We all have projects that have been gifted to us or pieces that we are doing as gifts.   This SAL is so we can work on those and post on the 15th.  The magazine was gifted to me by our wonderful hostess.

Mini London by Satsuma Street - I finished the Eye and added the windows in the bus.  At this rate, I might get it done by the end of the year.

Totally useless stitch a long is being hosted by It's Daffycat.   We save our old ratty threads and post them on the new moon..  Really late on this one.  These are my orts for the year.

Besides all of your sweet comments last month the other thing that kept me going was thinking about stitching on Sleeping Beauty from DoNa Stitch on Etsy.  (She just released Aladdin and Cinderella today.)  I stitched only on this for the last 2 weeks except London on Saturday night and Pretty Little New York last night.  Here is where I left it 1-31-16.

Here it is as of 5-14-16  (This is 2 1/4 skeins of 3808 or about 5,000 stitches of that color out of 15,668.)

I have been trying to come up with some kind of rotation.  They all sound good when I'm thinking about them.  I know I want to do a couple hundred stitches a day on this one.  I'm also starting to get the startitis bug again.  I think I am going to continue with my year of starts,

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

Both projects are lovely! I have several projects, but I don't really work in a rotation. Lately, I have been working on the projects that are calling to me most, AND the one that is closest to being finished.

I understand why Sleeping Beauty motivates you. Awesome!

Excellent progress on both! Wow, that is a lot of thread into Sleeping Beauty already. It's a gorgeous design.

I too want to start a new project, but that would drive me crazy so I am sticking to my current projects and those that are on my 31 crazy starts...At least for today.

I love Sleeping Beauty Linda! Can't wait to see more of it. Hope you find the rotation that works for you - it is not easy!

Thanks for taking part in GG this month.
Mini London is looking great now. Your progress on Sleeping Beauty is amazing too! Look how much you can get done when you OAAT.
My rotation is four different SALs, one for each week starting on Fridays then one Focus on a Finish piece for the rest of the week. Plus my 30 minutes bathtime stitching each evening! Works well for me.

What pretty colors in your London piece, Linda--and Sleeping Beauty looks like it will be a fun one to stitch, too :)

I recently saw the Sleeping Beauty design on Etsy, and thought it was interesting but I didn't realize there was so much outline stitching at first glance. It reminds me a little of stained glass. You've made a wonderful start and it looks like it's going to be a big project! Good luck with finding a rotation :)

Wow! Great progress on your Sleeping Beauty :o)
I don't really have a rotation but now I think I am going to have to get something going as my WIPs are getting to be out of control and I don't want to have any UFO's!! :o0
Well done on getting through your A-Z challenge!
Hugs xx

Sleeping Beauty is coming along beautifully and I love how you are going to keep starting! I always start off with a sort of rotation but then I get distracted by something else and on it goes! lol!

Nice progress on Mini London. And wow, great stitching on Sleeping Beauty. I can understand that looking forward to being able to stitch on this lovely project again kept you going on your April challenge.
And I can understand you on the startitis bug - I have it too, lol.
