Feb, GG and Smalls SAL's, Start 32, Giveaway Winner

Hi Blogger Friends.  Thank you for all the comments and giveaway guesses.  There were a few that scared me.  lol

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS is being hosted by Jo of Serendipitous Stitching.  (Jo you need to change your blog name to Jo's Stitching.  That word is to hard to spell.) LOL  We all have projects that have been gifted to us or pieces that we are doing as gifts.   This SAL is so we can work on those and post on the 15th.  The magazine was gifted to me by our wonderful hostess.
This is mini London by Satsuma Street. I managed to finish the red on the bus and start the bridge.  I still have New York to stitch.  At this rate I'll be working on these for the next 5 years.

It's the last Friday of the month and time for the Smalls SAL post.  This is being hosted by Heather of Stitching Lotus  We pick a small project to stitch on and post a finished picture on the last Friday of the month.  (This is one that didn't get finished for the April challenge last year.)
The Flintstones by Clouds Factory
14ct Blue Ridge Aida
Started 2-27-16
Finished 2-25-17

Start 32 The Mad Hatter by MrsPeggottyArts on Etsy

I was having major burn out from working on my April challenge pieces and had to start it.  This is project 6 for my ten -a-day which will be 80 a day which will be a whole lot more a day (starting May 1) until I get caught up.  This is 1175 stitches or weeks 1 and 2.

This is going to be project 7.  Pretty Little Barcelona by Satsuma Street started 1-8-15.

Now for the giveaway.  The winning guess was 750 which was:

As of January 31, 2017 I had 756 UFO's/WIP's.

I don't know about you but when I'm sitting at the table stitching I do a whole lot of thinking (unless I'm counting).  So many of you have rotations or schedules that seem to work for you.  I really would like to get a rotation/schedule figured out and that is what I have been doing a lot of thinking about.  I think I have come up with one that I will be happy with starting May 1.  I will let you know as it gets closer to that date.  You all know me - I'll change my mind a hundred times between now and then.

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

756 WIPS/UFO's? Alrighty, good for you! Just curious though, do you have any pictures of how you store and organize so many projects?

Wow! I have about 5 or 6 on the go now. 3 that are pretty big and a few smalls. I think that 756 is amazing. I think your finish is adorable.

Cute finish, Linda!! And good progress on others.
756!! Wow! I guess I might have only 5 out of which two are in near abandoned state.

I adore each of those pieces you posted pictures of. My favorite is the Hatter as I am a huge Disney fan. I can't imagine having so many WIPs going at once. I have two cross stitch pieces and two quilts on the go at the moment, and that is enough to keep me going.

Well done to Noni! I was way out - I guessed twice as many - lol! Lots of lovely stitching here, Linda.

Great updates on your SALs, Linda.
Awesome to have so many started pieces, I didn't have the slightest idea, that's why I didn't guess. But it must be a lot of fun. I only have 30+ WIPs and love them all. It's so great to go through my WIP bins and look for the one I want to continue stitching on.
I'm very curious to hear about your new rotation.

I can't imagine what sort of rotation would work for so many WIPS Linda! Details please! You made a good start on the Mad Hatter. I'm a huge Alice fan but these designs didn't really appeal to me, however having seen your start I might change my mind!

Whoa Linda! I have TWO WIPS. Yep.

Congrats to Stitching Noni! This was fun, Linda. That is huge number of WIPs though, wow. You are going to do 80 in a day?! Holy Smokes! You chose Mad Hatter, yay. Lots of luck with a rotation. I crash and burn every time I try to start one. Pebbles is so cute!

756???Seriously?
Good luck with your rotation, I wonder how you're going to work that out ;)
I have noticed you've changed picture on your header :) it's lovely and finished too! Congratulations!

I've been doing a lot better since I started back on my rotation, although I'm a bit looser with the structure than I was before. I pretty much switch projects every week unless I'm really into it and then I go another week, but no more. Sometimes it's really hard to put one down, but it keeps me from getting bored and keeps other projects moving.

I usually copy and paste! I do sometime regret choosing such a tricky word to spell.

Love the Cities and the new Hatter design.

Over 750 WIPs is insane! That's two a day for an entire year. I think I would batch them by designer and rotate like that.

756. I think I would really love this - so many to choose from, always something fresh to stitch on, but I think it would make me a little crazy too.

Wow, what a stab in the dark that guess was - can't believe I was right! Thank you so much for having so many WIPs - looking forward to going shopping :o) I am looking forward to seeing how you are going to do your rotation. Every time I try a rotation it lasts about a week as I am always changing my mind about what I want to stitch on....
I love your Mad Hatter piece - it is going to be lovely seeing this one progress for your 10 A Day stitching
Thank you again for having so many WIPs.... although I think I would keel over with a panic attack if I had that many :o)
Hugs xx

Congratulations to the winner--I just can't imagine having that many WIPs! I think I have maybe three right now :) Good luck with coming up with a rotation schedule that works, Linda!

London is so pretty on that fabric! Glad to see Mad Hatter on your blog, I was hoping that would be your new start. I (like others) am very interested in how you keep track of and store so many WIPs! Maybe when you get a minute or two you can do a post about it?

Lovely stitches. That's a lot of WIPs! I'm not sure I'd ever get them into a workable rotation.

I love Pebbles so cute, I don't envy you making a schedule for your huge work load I would be totally confused, I thought I was bad with four. :) xx

756?! Oh my God. I think I've got 4 projects on the go right now, and they're making me anxious LOL :D
