Finish 19 and 2018 plans

Hi Blogger Friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and got lots of stitchy stash from Santa.  I bought myself 17 charts from 123 Stitch.  (Cause ya know I don't have enough.) lol

Finish 19
The Mad Hatter by MrsPeggottyArts on Etsy
14ct white aida
Started 2-11-17
Finished 12-30-17

I didn't do as good as last year with the finishes but better than I thought.  In my defense I have crocheted 4 afghans, 1 toddler and 5 baby blankets.  I'm still working on a baby blanket and 2 afghans.

I am going to try and explain my monthly stitching plans for 2018 so they make sense.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are sorts free days.  More likely to play catch up on the challenges.

Thursday - Little House/Country Cottage Needleworks - FB SAL group.  You pick a series from either designer and stitch on one a month.   I will be doing LHN Hometown Holiday and maybe the new Farmhouse series.

Friday - Tiny Modernist - 50 State SAL on Stitch Maynia - I will work on 1 state a month

Saturday - Clouds Factory - Princess SAL on Stitch Maynia - I will work on 1 princess chart a month

Sunday - Lizzie Kate - a Christmas ornament a month for Stitch Maynia - Smalls SAL

5.  12 Days of Christmas by Satsuma Street for Kaye's Christmas Ornament blog

6.  Gifted Gorgeouness being hosted by Jo

7.  Zodiac SAL being hosted by Jo

8.  Soda Stitch SAL on FB - Stitch on any fairy tale chart - I am starting Fairy Tale 1

9.  Full Coverage Fanatics FB group - do 1200 stitches a month on the same piece - I am starting Chip and Dale by Avrora on Etsy

10.  Weekend SAL with Kate on Alice in Wonderland by DoNa Stitch on Etsy

11.  Alice in Wonderland by MrsPeggottyArts on Etsy - SAL with Jo - 100 stitches a day

12.  Ultimate Cross Stitch FB group is doing a month something next year but I don't know what yet

Okay, you can all call my nutso now.  I will be hard pressed to get it all done in January as I am still crocheting 2 afghans.  Don't know what my excuse will be for the other 11 months.  I will be doing a weekly update on Mondays starting with the 8th.

I wish you all A VERY HEALTHY, STITCHY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Thanks for stopping by.   Linda

Linda: Your finish is amazing, what a sweet design, so cool.
I do wish I was as organized as you, I do not like to have more then one design going at once, I guess you could say I am OCD.
I look forward to seeing your progress this year.

Blessings

Linda, don't worry about the afghans is my advice. ;) My plans are not as elaborate as yours. Wondering if I should find that full coverage group on Facebook and join to see if I can get Reptiles moved forward....Happy New Year my blogger friend!

Great idea to lay out your plans. I haven't been able to give mine much thought yet, but would like to join some of the SALs on Stitch Maynia and the Xmas ornament one. I had better get thinking!

Congrats on the big cross stitch finish! It is looking great:) I never look for dates but since you are a fast stitcher I looked up how much time you took for this but, lol, your dates were messed up.
Good luck with your 2018 plans! I don't think your plans are crazy, I am used to seeing your infinite list of projects. But then, you not only start, you finish them as well.

Wow, Linda, 19 finishes last year, you definitely accomplished a lot. Your new stitching plans also sound very ambitious but as I know you, you can do it. I'm looking forward to see lots and lots of great stitching on your blog.
Have a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Congratulations on the Mad Happy Hatter Dance! He looks awesome.

Your rotations sounds quite challenging, most people would have rolled the two Christmas monthlies into the same design LOL. I do love the Satsuma Street 12 Days though.

Looking forward to SAL with you again in 2018.

Congratulations on your finish and all your other progress throughout 2017. Considering your problems and the amount of crocheting you did, you had a fantastic stitching year. And Mad Hatter really does look amazing!
Your plans for 2018 are very... well... Linda! Good luck in keeping up with everything; I'm not sure my brain could cope with all those SALs!

What a fun finish, Linda! I love the colors in it :) And I'm happy to see you also bought yourself some more stash from 123 Stitch. I did, too, even though I will never have the time to stitch everything I bought. It gives me pleasure just to look at my charts, though :)

Good luck with your 2018 plans--and Happy New Year!
