Starts 39 - 44 DSDUCJFC and CAL and Gifted Gorgeousness

Hi Blogger Friends.  A big welcome to all of my new followers.  I also want to say a BIG thank you to all of you for leaving me such wonderful comments.  I really do appreciate them.  You all keep me going.

I still have a major problem.  See all the blogs on my sidebar.  I read those everyday if you have made a post.  I comment on about 90% of them.  Of that 90% - I am getting about 85%   "Delivery Status Notification Failure".  My comment goes on your blog post but not to your email.  I am now getting a few that leave me a comment and its not going to my email.  I am so frustrated and I don't know how to fix it.
I just wanted you all to know that I am still commenting on your posts.

I have been doing a new start everyday but am being a slacker about posting them.

Day 39 - Halloween Hoots - Ursula Michael

Day 40 - Happy Haunter - Diane Arthurs

Day 41 - Fantasy Blooms - Ursula Michael  (Another one that isn't my normal liking, but I am going to enjoy stitching this one.)

Day 42 - Autumnal Abstract - Vervaco  (Finished picture courtesy of Rachel.

Day 43 - Create - Living with Charm Flip-Its - Lizzie Kate

Day 44 - Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides - Cheeky Shark Labs

Mini Rings of Change being hosted by Kate.  I know I'm behind in this but I don't even know how far.  lol

This is the full size version.  I'm thinking of doing it in color Cornmeal.  You can see the multi version in the lower left.  It has been very enjoyable so far.  You can see a better picture HERE.

I'm 2 parts behind on Sophie's Universe CAL and the next part comes out tomorrow.
My 3rd CAL started Tuesday and I haven't started it yet.  It's by Yarnspirations being hosted by Mikey of the Crochet Crowd.

Look at this awesome project bag that I won from Vonna.  I still can't believe that I won this.  Thank you so much Vonna.  I love it.

GIFTED GORGEOUSNESS  being hosted by Jo.  I'm a day early with this.  You can go to Jo's blog tomorrow and see all the other SALongers.  This is Autumnal Abstract by Vervaco.  I watched Rachel stitching this for quite a while and just loved it.  I was lucky enough to win it when she was done.  There again, not my normal stitching, but I loved working on it.  So I came up with a brilliant idea.  I made 4 working copies.  Now I can stitch one for each season by changing the colors and hanging them differently.  This is stitched like this but Rachel has it hanging horizontally.

I've talked long enough.               HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Thanks for looking.    Linda

Linda's Feb. Turtle Trot Update

Hi Blogger Friends.   It's time for my turtle trot update.  This is a SAL being hosted by Claudette of BAP Attack.  We pick 10 projects to work on throughout the year and see how many we can finish.
I managed to work on all 10 in the last 5 days and worked on 4 of them yesterday.

1.  Seasonal Cat Welcome - Diane Arthurs - I added the orange.

2.  Pretty Little New York - Satsuma Street - I finished the building on the left.

3.  Disney Heroe's #16 - Alina's XStitch - I did the darker blue.  It's now touching Snow Whites head.

4.  Winter Alphabet - Lizzie Kate -  I did the letter 'P'.

5.  Mitten Friends - Diane Arthurs - I started the 3rd mitten.

6.  Mermaid Myrna - Diane Arthurs - I did more of her face.

7.  Autumn Season - Sandra Cozolino - I stitched the word "falling".

8.  ABC Christmas - Lizzie Kate - I went backwards on this one.  I didn't like the fabric so I started over.

9.  March Sampler - Waxing Moon Designs - I did another strand in the top banner.

10. 6 Fat Men - Lizzie Kate - I finished the trees.  (Only doing one a year is gonna take another 4 years)

Thanks for looking.  Linda

PS  Thinking about continuing starts through March.  Anyone want to join me?

February YOTA SAL

Hi Blogger Friends.  It's Year of the Acronym time again.  This is where we pick a project and work on it during the month and post a before and after picture on the first Saturday.  It is being hosted by Pull the Other Thread.
I can't believe that I hadn't worked on this in two months.  It's kinda funny - I really have not wanted to work on this at all these last couple months.  I just pulled it out today and did the stitching under the green and blue map except for the pink and white.  It's like why haven't I worked on it as I really enjoyed it and didn't want to stop.  (I really need to figure out some sort of a rotation.)

Starts 33 - 35 DSDUCJFC and CAL

Hi Blogger Friends.  I'm still managing to keep up with my starts everyday.  But I still haven't touched my 10 turtle trot pieces that need to be posted on the 10th.

Day 33 - Pretty Little Italy - Satsuma Street

Day 34 - The Southern Sea Otter - Endangered Young'uns  - This was so much fun to stitch and I think they will stitch up quickly.  I hope so there are 32 of them. (4 in another book)  I am doing the top middle one.

Day 35 - Winter Owl - UAHome Made Studio on Etsy

Cross stitch pattern PDF - Owl with scarf

Sophie's Universe CAL - a Facebook group - Part 3 done - Now it will start to be square
 Missy decided to photo bomb.

Update on to do list:

1.  Finish putting stuff away from frenzy cutting.  DONE
2.  Organize 4 plastic boxes of aida fabric.  DONE
3.  Pick my next 27 starts (I do know what I'm starting tonight) instead of spending an hour everyday going through my 200 and whatever ziplock storage bags and try and decide what I want to start.  DONE  (BUT I'M SURE I'LL CHANGE MY MIND A HUNDRED TIMES)
4.  I also have finished 1 piece this year so I get to start 5 more after the 28th so I need to decide on those.  DONE
5.  I need to do 15 rounds on Sophie's Universe CAL by Sunday when Part 5 comes out.  Of course now each round is taking longer as it gets bigger.  Mine is going to be ginormous.  I DID 3 ROWS TO FINISH PART 3 PICTURED ABOVE
6.  I need to do 5 rounds on the Mini Ring of Change CAL by Friday.
7.  I also need to work on a Corner to Corner that is an order.
8.  I have 8 days to work on my 10 Turtle Trot pieces to post on the 10th.
9.  I haven't touched YOTA - North Pole House in a couple of months and it's post is this Saturday.
10.  I haven't worked on my Saturday, Sunday or Monday SAL's in a couple of months.  Monday was the Bothy Threads Cut-thru SAL.  It has just about completely fizzled out.  I am dropping out of that one but will continue to work on my pieces (I hope).
11.  I need to separate my 800+ skeins of floss into some kind of order so it doesn't take me an hour to find one skein.
12.  I need to list all of my Etsy chart purchases, by designer, and put in my binder so I don't spend an hour looking to see if I already bought a chart that I just can't live without.

A few people asked to see my fabric stash.  This is all 14ct aida.

I also have about 80 tubes of 15 x 18 Charles Craft and 5 rolls of 36 x 72 Charles Craft.  (I know its alot but I have been collecting it for many years.)

Gonna go sort floss and hubby is going to help me but he doesn't know it yet.  lol

Thanks for looking.

PS  I'm going to be having a 4 year blogoversary giveaway starting March 1.

Starts 27 - 32 DSDUCJFC

Hi Blogger Friends.  Boy am I a bad leader.  Six days behind in posting my starts.  BUT, I do have a really good excuse.  I was trying to finish part 3 of Sophie's Universe CAL so I could post it.  Needless to say I still have 3 rounds to go.  I have also been trying to reorganize my junk-stuff-stash from my marathon fabric cutting frenzy.  You know when your reorganizing you start at one spot or box that leads to I have to clean this area first which leads to the next area and the next, etc.  I think all I have done is made a bigger mess.  lol  I decided I better write my plans down.

1.  Finish putting stuff away from frenzy cutting.
2.  Organize 4 plastic boxes of aida fabric.
3.  Pick my next 27 starts (I do know what I'm starting tonight) instead of spending an hour everyday going through my 200 and whatever ziplock storage bags and try and decide what I want to start.
4.  I also have finished 1 piece this year so I get to start 5 more after the 28th so I need to decide on those.
5.  I need to do 15 rounds on Sophie's Universe CAL by Sunday when Part 5 comes out.  Of course now each round is taking longer as it gets bigger.  Mine is going to be ginormous.
And I wonder why I've had a headache for the last couple months.

Why your here - my last 6 starts

Day 27 - Garden Cuties - Bee - Joan Elliott  (I love her designs but she uses way to many quarter stitches)

Day 28 - Garden Cuties - Ladybug - Joan Elliott

Day 29 - Joan Elliott Desk Calendar - WOCS - SAL with Mii.  Her's is done but at least mine is started.  (These were a gift from Rachel and will also count for Gifted Gorgeousness being hosted by Jo.

Day 30 - Griper's Club - Waxing Moon Designs   (This is so me)

Day 31 - Cinderella's Castle - Hornswoggle Store on Etsy - This is a SAL with Kate.  This is also the piece I will be stitching for the A New Stitchy Start 2015 SAL.  (I changed my mind on the original one I had started)  I think I'm really going to enjoy stitching on this one.

Day 32 - Christmas Bus - All Our Yesterdays  (This was a gift from Kaye and will count for Gifted Gorgeousness being hosted by Jo)

Now I need to go clean up the kitchen and then spend an hour trying to decide what I want to do from my list.

Thanks for looking.    Linda

PS  I'm working on replying to your awesome comments.
