Linda's March Turtle Trot Update and Starts 65 - 68

Hi Blogger Friends.   It's time for my turtle trot update.  This is a SAL being hosted by Claudette of BAP Attack.  We pick 10 projects to work on throughout the year and see how many we can finish.  I stitched on 4 yesterday, 3 on Sunday and the other 3 this past week.
Kate is doing a rotation on hers and it seems to be working really well for her.  You start on the 11th and stitch on one piece for 3 days.  Pick another one and stitch on it for 3 days etc.  Some days you  may only have time to work on one  but at least they will all get some  stitching on them.

You have to admit that I'm pretty darn consistent with my crooked pictures.

1.  Seasonal Cat Welcome - Diane Arthurs - I did the rest of the purple cloak.

2.  Pretty Little New York - Satsuma Street - I finished the blue on the building on the top right.

3.  Disney Heroe's #16 - Alina's XStitch - I added more to the tree trunk.

4.  Winter Alphabet - Lizzie Kate - I did the letter "G".

5.  Mitten Friends - Diane Arthurs - I finished his had and started his face.

6.  Mermaid Myrna - Diane Arthurs - I did another 100 stitches in her face.

7.  Autumn Season - Sandra Cozzolino - I stitched "Leaves".

8.  ABC Christmas - Lizzie Kate - I did another word.

9.  March Sampler - Waxing Moon Designs - I finished the cloud.

10.  6 Fat Men - Lizzie Kate - I did more snow.

Believe it or not, I'm starting to get tired of the starts.  BUT, I will prevail and finish them for the month. Remember when I said I would finish 1 and start 5.  I changed my mind and will maybe finish 2 and start 1. Of course that is subject to change.  lol
Here are my next 4 starts:

Start 65 - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - Clouds Factory

Start 66 - Cinderella - Clouds Factory
Cinderella Princess parody - Cross stitch PDF pattern

Start 67 - Mickey Mouse and Friends - Clouds Factory
Mickey Mouse and friends parody - Cross stitch PDF patterb

Start 68 - Doggy String - Lizzie Kate

Starts 45 - 48 DSDUCJFC and TUSAL

Hi Blogger Friends.  I want to thank you all for the wonderful comments.  I still haven't got back to you personally and I'm sorry.  Please just know that I really appreciate them.

Here are my next 4 starts:

Day 45 - Rainbow Parfait - Glendon Place   I'm not using the called for expensive floss just good old DMC.  What do you think of my color choices?

Day 46 - Mediterranean Harbour - John Clayton - Heritage Stitchcraft      I love his designs but didn't realize he uses a lot of single strands and blended threads.  I just like plain old x's.

Day 47 - Venice Balcony - Michael Powell     I scored big time and got 8 of his charts on ebay for $8.00 each plus free postage.

Day 48 - Spring Seasonal Mandala - Ink Circles   This is the one on the right.

It's time for the Totally Useless Stitch along update.  This is where we save our floss or yarn ends and post a picture of them on the New Moon.  This is being hosted by Sharon of It's Daffycat.

Sophie's Universe CAL - I had made up my mind to quit doing this CAL.  I love the colors.  The rounds are getting more complicated therefore they are more time consuming.  I like it but the texture is kinda rough.  But looking at it here makes me want to continue working on it.  What do you all think?

Thanks for looking.    Linda
