Start 1 - DSDUCJFC

Hi Blogger Friends.  I am still very unorganized.  (gee surprise)  I did manage to start my BAP last night.  This fabric is very stiff and its going to take me a hundred years to finish it.

Full Service - Artecy
You can click on the picture to enlarge.

I hope to make a list of all of my stitch alongs in the next few days.  Who is going to help me keep track of all of them and when to post.  That was Debbie's job.

Thanks for looking.   Linda

Let's see.. 300x220=66,000 stitches. If you stitch about 180 stitches a day you'll be done in a year! It looks great, I really like this chart.

Debbie always kept us updated on when to update. I really smiled both days starting a new piece. I could just feel her smiling on us for starting new things in her honor. This project is fantastic. Keep it up!

That's a big chart!! She is sure smiling on you and we all miss her. Though I could not join this SAL neither I joined Turtle Trot this year but I am with you all in remembering her through this SAL:)

Great design to start for Day 1! Nice progress! I was laughing at your comment about the stiffness of your fabric - adia right? Stiff but durable and easy for ironing.
Debbie was amazing about her posting. And do you know that I noticed that you and Debbie would always post on the same day -LOL!
love Annette

Yes Annette I noticed that too! If you send me a list of your SALs I will try to remind you! I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's updates in Debbie's memory. Your first project is beautiful.

I'm so sorry I didn't get to know Debbie better; from what I hear, she was an amazing person. Great start! Congrats on all your finished Smalls for 2014. I think we're in the same SALs so I'll try to remind you. Now, who's gonna remind me?

I like that I read "only full stitches are used". That can be a plus. Best of luck!

I'd help you organizing if I were more organized myself, lol. I have been struggling these last days to put my projects for Debbie's Crazy Challenge together - I should have done it a lot earlier. BUt I'll show my first starts soon.

Very nice chart to start the challenge with.

Really great start Linda :)

Great start, although I am disappointed that Rue Paris didn't win. I started Shakespearean Fantasy today - 350,000 stitches! Yikes! I have done about 400 so far.

We will all make sure you keep up to date with your dates, don't worry!

I couldn't participate in this SAL, but am having fun following along on everyone's progress in honor of Debbie. Good on you for organizing it! I had not heard of Artecy before. I love the design you chose and went to take a look at their website. They have tons of really beautiful charts, including one of the Wrigley Building at the Chicago River. Uh oh, Linda, what have you done?!!
